lock up won't engage after engine gets hot on C5

Hey guys. So we have a 2000 C5 with built ls1 and 4l60. The trans has a single disc circle d 3600 stall tq converter with a trans go 2 shift kit in it and a tru cool 40 cooler. We have the trans only lock up in 4th because it doesn't like it in 3rd. But here's the deal, when we get on the highway everything shifts as normal and lock up engages like it should. But then the engine gets warmer, like 200* and then the tranny gets warmer and will climb to the 220"s*. Then for some reason the torque converter will go unlocked and the tranny temp climbs even higher in the 240"s* and it won't go back into lock up until the car cools down. Also one other thing is we switched the rear gear from a 273 to a 3.42. I'd appreciate if someone could take a look at the tune and see if something sticks out or do we just need to get a better radiator because we are still running the stock one? Thank you.Corvette Tune.hpt

    Hello again, Joe.

C5's have the speed sensor in the diff. To change gear ratio you must change the tire size in the tune. Put the gear ratio back to 2.73. Use the gear/tire wizard and multiply tire size by 0.7982. 2.73/3.42 = 0.7982. Should come up with 21.31 tire size in your tune.

TCC apply/release spreads are too high. Stock differs by only 2mph. Your tune has a difference as high as 20mph.

Why is TCC Duty Cycle Minimum set so low? Try 90% not 10%.

One thing though is I can't see what the tire size is in the tune. In the gear / tire wizard it ask you what your tire size is which I believe is 26.70. Should I just put the current tire size the same as the new?

If it's stock tire size use 26.70*0.7982. For aftermarket take your diameter measurement and multiply by 0.7982. Keep gear ratio 2.73.

Stock example: 26.70/2.73 current -> 21.31/2.73 new. Press adjust. Save. Write the tune.

Btw it might have not liked 3rd because TCC duty cycle was too low.
