Issues with the 8L90E Trans defaulting to 3rd gear in a Gen V LT Swap
The ECM is a E92A from a 2017 SS Camaro along with the TCM from the same 2017 SS Camaro. I'm able to read vehicle speed along with all of the input and output shaft data. I seen a couple of post on here with people saying that being stuck in 3rd gear like this is a limp mode. I attached a data log of a little drive around the parking lot.
After going through the wiring Pinouts for the TCM and the transmission connector I noticed that the wiring pinout showed both TCM Pin 35 and Pin 51 see 12v ignition. After putting it back together I did a full system reflash on the TCM for the heck of it and now it is shifting. I attached a log of a quick drive with it shifting.
