Started measuring from batteries (dual batteries on my truck) positive to random places comparing voltage drop.
Started with engine off, then with engine running.
Damn alternator wasn?t getting a good ground to the drivers side battery and was showing more than 2vdc drop.
Made up a quick jumper from alternator bracket to frame where battery hits.
Volt meter now reads 14.4 hot idle all accessories running compared to 12.9.
Speedo doesn?t bobble around.
Everything works better.
Made 2 laps around neighborhood with no alarms.
Hell, may have to retune a few things now.
Now that's some honest work.
