    C7 Z06 Throttle closing

Well I haven't been on the forum for a while. So thanks in advance for any help. So first thing. I have built motor Z06 that ran very well just checking the tune. The car was a bit down on power for the build and was missing a little boost PSI. We smoked it. found a leak in the lid gasket sealing area. Installed new gasket , re smoked, All Good!! made 40 More HP but still missing over 100 HP what should be supposedly was when bought. SO I figured I would raise the RPM And throw a bit of degree and a half of timing just to see. ITs on MS109 and methanol. Well now the car closes the throttle at 3500 RPMS. Put the original tune in, AND guess what !!! CLoses the throttle!!!! I looked at comparison file and I see nothing. Commanded throttle goes from 100 to 50%. I am baffled and have a customer that's not so loving. loloolol Could someone please put an eyeball or suggestion of why its closing when nothing really changed

You need to be logging a TON more PID's to see if there is anything going on.

You need to be inside VCM Scanner to open it as a channel config. You may need to verify the file name extension matches. Meaning, you may need to rename the file to blahblah.channels and drop the .xml extension.

Have to be connected to the vehicle too or else the "Recent Channel Configs" button is grayed-out.

So I guess my mistake was when I backed up the transmission file, it said it was a stock tune file. And raised the the shift point for the pull and then reflashed the transmission, It put a stock transmission tune file back in with a raised shift point. So it was hitting the transmission torque table of 1,000 lbs. I raised it to 2000lbs and Wallah. Thank you guys and with some help from others, I learned something today.
