    Can someone check my PID???

    Long story short, I own the program with someone else and upgrading is not an option(eventually going to get it on my own, but for now I'm stuck)

    Here it goes:

    NGK AFX Wide Band: 9-16 AFR
    0v= 9 AFR
    5v= 16 AFR

    Therefore the range is 7

    Does this PID look right to you guys??

    [PID.2811]/.5+9

    Thanks for lookin',
    Paul

    PID.2811 is EGR position? What is the scaling of that? My truck doesn't have EGR so I've never looked at it.....
    for 0-5V then you would need

    EDIT:Boy was I off. Did some reading and found some more info. The equation you have works for 9 - 19 AFR. I took the 5V divided by 7AFR and came up with .714

    [PID.2811]/.714+9

    0V = 9.0 AFR
    1V = 10.4 AFR
    2V = 11.8 AFR
    3V = 13.2 AFR
    4V = 14.6 AFR
    5V = 16.0 AFR

    The EGR is scaled from 0-5v.

    Tapping into the EGR with my WB. Using the 0-5v signal so I can see it in the scanner. The PID listed I got from another tread, but it wont read on my scanner.(says its unsupported??) The WB, I hope, I will have by Monday or Tuesday. I was trying to get the "custom PID" functional using the signal from the EGR right now so I know it's working. Then unplugging it and attaching the WB to the output wire. Thanks for the heads up bud, I'll try that one

    I think you replied while I was editing. I changed the equation after doing some research. Please look up ^^^^^

    Anyone know what I'm doing wrong here?? I've added the custom pid to the histo as above. Scaning the EGR v in the Table view, chart, and histo. Cannot get a reading in the histo. And is there a way to change how it shows in the chart or table, to show the signal as an AFR? I'm going to hook up the lap top so I can upload my config...

    Here's my config

    Ok, what you need to do is setup a custom pid so that you can log afr in your histogram.
