    False Knock?

    I am trying to figure out why I have some knock retard in this run. At the beginning of the log, there is ~5* of KR, but at the end of the log, where there is a similar run, there is none. There were a few small logs before this one, that showed no KR. Is this real?

    Only lowering the timing, or only raising the octane, doing them separately, won't give you a definitive answer to 'is this real knock or false knock'.

    I pulled about 1 degree in my high-octane table at the upper air mass level and a half a degree out of my PE table. The knock retard went away.
