    2007 Chevy Tahoe dod delete tune

    After a lifter failed on my wife?s Tahoe, I?m swapping the cam and lifters with a non dod cam and lifter kit. what do I need to buy to correct the tune. It?s stock profile cam. Just want it to run right.

    You can buy an HP Tuners MPVI3, or send your PCM to have the DOD disabled. Where are you located?

    The only thing available to buy now is the MPVI3. You will also need 2 universal credits to license that vehicle. Bare minimum is you edit the calibration and set the master DOD switch to disable. If you are OCD, you can also set the 5 DTCs to no error reported for the DOD performance and the 4 solonoids but with the master DOD switch set to disable the diagnostics won't run for those codes.
