need help on a LS3 6.0 v8 Gen3 engine swap

originally was 2008 Chevrolet Silverado ? ton Work Truck, 5.3 L, V8, GM_E38 i swap it with a Gen 3 engine. is it possible to reprogram the same ecm for this gen 3 engine?

You can not run a Gen 3 24x reluctor engine with a Gen 4 58x ECM. Bad choice for your swap.

so do i need to swap the ecm ass well?

How do you plan to do that? A Gen3 PCM won't talk to all the other modules in a Gen4 vehicle. The harnesses are completely different. Nothing interchanges. You have the wrong engine, that's what needs to be changed to make everything work.
