03 yukon denali Truck norris dial in

Hello all! my setup is a new to me 03 Denali that didnt run when i bought it, I built an LQ4 for it with the BTR truck norris cam, 799 heads and other supporting mods. I have it running pretty well and my AFR gauge should be here this next week. My main concern is a bit of a intermittent bucking sensation when reversing, burst knock when switch from reverse to drive or other and just today I noticed a bit of periodic popping through the exhaust at an idle when warmed up. Other than those few things I think I have a pretty solid tune on this thing. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Burst knock is set the opposite way it should, zero means it's always on and 8.00 means it's off, so I'd switch that.

Just know that before you get too heavy into fuel changes you will require larger injectors. A 6.0 with a camshaft upgrade and headers will run out of steam above 5,000rpm on stock injectors.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

So I'm still not 100% clear on the purpose of burst knock and why it seems like everyone shuts it off, why does it even exist?

Burst knock pulls timing when the PCM anticipates a real knock event may occur. Like when there is a sudden increase in load even if real knock doesn't. It is a predictive timing pull. You have to remember GM engineers these vehicles to run on low octane fuel that might not be the most knock resistant.

What do you think about the popping in the exhaust? leaking injector? timing?

Following I have a very similar tune going on myself for a friend. Ours does the same thing when going from drive to reverse. But I know he also has a bad rear spring shackle bushing. But I don't have any popping out the exhaust
