09 Spanish Oaks Spark\Advance\Borderline Corrections\VCT IMRC Maps

Hello All,

I would like to understand how this map interfaces w\ the borderline knock base map. According to GUI description, this map is a spark adder using a multiplier of the amount of VCT cam EVO degree retard to add to the base borderline knock map to make up for lost static compression from cam IVC retard thru dynamic compression to set net TQ according to VCT cam timing, thus is part of the base borderline knock spark advance......if not zeroed out (disables it), correct?

If this is so, then how is knock advance applied.........off the corrected base borderline knock table, or off the base borderline knock table w\o correction?

I'm playing w\ this in my tune file so trying to get an understanding of how the process works so that I can make full use of this correctly.

Appreciate any info given.
