Yeah another ? about LM1 please help

Well I am new to the whole tuning thing. I read this site as much as posible, and for days I have been surching for an answer but can't seem to find it. I would like to start using a wide band 02 but I do not want to do any hardwiring cause I would like to start tunning other cars as well. I was looking at the LM1, and was woundering if there is a way I can just hook it to my computer and make it log on the HP scanner. Would that be easier to set up than getting the MPVI pro and hooking up a wide band? Also I have read about hooking up the MPVI pro to the LC1. Why would you not just buy a WB o2 by itself? Any help is greatly apreciated.

The easiest setups are the ones with single analog outputs. You run the analog output to the MPVI Pro connector. Set up the MPVI Pro for the model of wideband that you have on the input you selected and you're done.

So I asume I would be able to get a wide band from like Toyota or Volkswagan? If so what make/model/year vehicle should I get one for? I sure hope that I don't have to buy the LM1 and the MPVI pro? I can't wait to get this set up so I can do some real tunning

Also, since I see that you are a profesional tuner, what resorces would you recomend reading to learn more about tunning. Reading the stuff on here is good, but I want something that is more specific. I would like to learn absolutly everything and anything I posibly can about tunning. As I would like to maybe be able to make some kind of carrier out of it some day . I can't get enouf of this modding stuff

You will need a wideband controller (Innovate, PLX, Dynojet, AEM, AutoMeter) not just a sensor. And if you are planning to tune other peoples cars, you require the wideband controller *and* the MPVI Pro. You can't tune professionally without the proper tools.

There is a ton of info here. No one person can tell you how to tune, it's part art, part science.

I can't give you any specific resources either as I am still learning how to tune every day (mostly self taught with an electronics background). I am familiar with the way the code is executed (not all of it but some) so I have a little bit more inside (pardon the pun) information.

If I didn't learn something new today (and I did), I might as well have been pushing up daisies.
