Noticed I can't turn off the Check Engine light on the O2 Codes... They are blacked out.

It is a disgusting acronym, a three letter word worse than any four letter word...........EPA!
How come GM allows it?
The Dodges i've messed with have too. I do limited Fords so thats why I ask.
