Do the ECM and TCM calibrations match? Is this in a swap or in the original vehicle?
E38s ECMs controlled A/C 2 ways.
Trucks, Vans, Suburbans, Yukons, Tahoes..used the BCM
Camaro, CTS-V and Corvette didn't.
I had to swap to a camaro E38 to get it to read my a/c pressure.

Got it figured out. And I'll post below what the fix was for anyone else with the issue.
So did some research. Found some of the info on this forum.
So my swap came out of a 2011 3500 express...
2011 E38 L96 out of a Chevy 3500 Express van. Came with a fan clutch. I added electric fans. My tuner performed a segment swap with EFI live to get the fans to work.
Fans work fine controlling...
We ended up figuring it out before coming back to this post. You hit the nail on the head. We bypassed the heater core and looped the water pump inlet and outlet to the heater core with the “u”...
