I changed the tires from a 245/70 16 to 265/70 on my 2003 4wd suburban. With the Tech 2 I changed the tire size in the EBCM to the correct size. HP tuners is needed for the speedo.
From what I've gathered from reading the service manuals, yes the pressure sensor is needed.
The PCM and pressure sensor together act like the trinary switch with the added benifit of taking road...
