Thanks for the reply. I've always assumed that the torque management is purely to protect the A/T, and not required for a M/T. I guess looking at a 5spd camaro would answer that. I'll have to...

Switching from PWM to Serial did it. Fired and ran right away. No coolant so I didn't it run long, but long enough to know it's working as designed.
