I think that is right. I found someone with a hand held Bosch scanner and it did read the ABS codes, so HP Tuners must not have access to those codes.
Thanks.

I have an ABS and Stabiltrak light on on my Son's 2103 Malibu. I can see scan data from the engine, but the scan tool does not show any DTCs for the ABS system. Just wondering if HP tuners supports...
Didn't attach the files correctly. Here they are.
Here is the tune I ended up going with and a log of the last test run. The knock sensors in the tune are pretty much the settings from the LS6 standard tunes, with a little modification to the...
I did look at the max knock table, and it is set to 10. I was getting something different everytime. Sometimes 6, sometimes 8 sometimes 9. It was generally a single sharp spike to that level and...
I played with the knock sensor settings and think I've got this under control. I'll tell you what it was doing and the adjustments I made.
No. I didn't hear any knock, but it is pretty loud at...
I would log the fuel trims to see what they are doing. A log of LTFT + STFT vs. VE would help. You are running closed loop?
When you commanded fuel goes into PE the actual is not following it...
I have some audible ping at low RPM's between 1200-1800 RPM and low load .16 - .36 g/cyl, but it is not showing up as knock retard. I have retarded the timing in those areas pretty significantly to...
Thanks. Texas Speed told me these heads would produce 10.95 to 1 compression. I'm running on 93 octane. I think I've finally concluded that the knock sensors are too sensitive and made some...
Thanks for responding. I finally concluded the same thing.
I think I've figured it out and will post tune later, but started with a timing that I knew was safe. I used the Ls6 Tip in able and...
I have Texas Speed 5.3 heads and 224R cam in LS1 Corvette with Manual transmission. AFR is 12.5 at WOT and I'm getting a lot of knock retard. PCM is taking away as much as 10 degrees timing. I...

I am looking at the differences in tunes between the 2001 LS6 Corvette and my 1999 LS1. The LS6 Maps appear to use higher knock sensor levels--specifically in the Tip in TPS values, among others....
I installed Texas Speed Stage 2.5 5.3 liter heads and a 224R Cam. I have the VE and MAF tables tuned pretty well. However the engine shows it is knocking and pulling a lot of timing at WOT (as much...
Got it working, but I had to download the demo version from the website and then enter my application key. I could not make it work at all with the disk that was originally included with the...
I've gotten the drivers installed on the interface. I've also inserted the disk and installed the Scaner and Editor programs, but when I click on either the editor or scanner it does nothing. It...
Thanks very much. I'm glad I'm only out the cost of a laptop--time to get him his own.
My son dropped the laptop I had HPTuners installed on and the laptop no longer works. I still have the product serial number and activation code. I am going to buy a new laptop (one he won't be...
Sommer--I am new to HPTuners too. It takes some time to be able to navigate all of the different screens and settings in the software and to understand what you are doing and why. I spent a lot of...
Thanks very much for your help. Makes sense. Everything I've read suggests more timing--I just assumed that the stock tune would be way conservative in terms of staying away from knock and if I...
Here is the Standard Tune that came on the car when I bought it. Pretty sure this is what came from GM--the guy I bought it from had not done anything to the car.
I looked at the timing table...

Thanks very much for your help. I think I do have knock reard in the chart--second section labelled "retard (deg)." I have never messed with timing at all on the prior tune--it is just the stock...
I have a 99 C5 corvette with manual transmission. I installed a black wing and headers and re-tuned the car. This past week I then installed heads and a cam (224R). I have not run the car for more...
Not sure why the LTFT's show up in the histogram, but in any event the LTFTs seem to be learning out as I drive the car. After about 75 miles they are starting to come down.
