I'm getting 1000 and gradually goes to 500 range as the car warms up, SP2 also using LC-2 serial.
The way I got it to run was by going to the hptuners folder and run compatibility troubleshooting on it, then let it automatically fix it, then when you get the test program button, use that and it...
Thanks, will do.
I was getting ready to do VE and i ran across these strange numbers in the VE table, and i noticed that everything looks messed up on the tune. The 2000 Tahoe is supercharged but runs fine. Its like...
I had to post this in this section to let the gen 4 guys keep going in their section.....
I was having the same problems as everyone else and tried something different. I did my wb tune spot on and...
I just tried this and i can see how it works........but.........Is this a classic example of "Kentucky Windage"? i rechecked my ve a couple of times and there were small changes each time. those...
What if you don't have a maf?
i'm back, well i'm having a little trouble with the lean cruise. It seems that my cruise map is 30-35 kpa but my idle is also that. Its making the car idle at 16afr, if i move it up to 40 kpa i will...
LTFT min map vs baro table, i set it to 50 kpa, now i can stay in closed loop at idle and anything over 50.
Ok, i did the OLSD thing, since i have a gen 3 engine i just changed the EQ ratio table to .86 from 30-45map and added 5 deg of spark accordingly. Doing this made my cruise IFR drop from 8 to 3.9 and...
i'm going out now to tune VE, gonna try the lean cruise thing in olsd plus the driving tips. i'll let you know how it works out.
I guess the only real way of getting better mileage is to lighten the car and get better .......as Mater said......"Aeromatics"...
How about a TB restrictor? less air would come in, then you can retune to that airflow and save it for trips and and anytime you don't need the power.
Here is the real life scenario: Me and my brother had the same year and engine camaro 94 3.4, both m5. his was stock cam and stock 3.23 gears, i had bigger cam and 4.11 gears. On the trip from...
Can't you just turn the injector flow rate vs kpa down in the light throttle cells? The most dramatic fuel savings i ever saw was when i turned down the fuel pressure at the rail on long trips in my...
I understand that, but the line pressure doesn't look right in gear 2 through 4 at WOT, isn't there a mechanical way to do something about it?
So i guess that means "it is what it is", and there is no modifying or manipulation of line pressure at all, even on the mechanichal level?
BTW, this is a 2000 silverado 5.3 with a yank 3600 stall and FLT stage 5 4L80 on a 12 bolt with 4.10's.
One quick question, on the FLT vacum actuated transmissions, is there ANY way to manipulate the line pressure? The reason i ask is 1 is nice and strong, but 2, 3 and 4 seem like they could use a...
thx a lot guys.
Once i'm done with VE and spark tuning, is there anything else i need to do to get more power besides buy more parts? TM is done and there is no MAF.
I understand that a WB is more effective and i have one, i would just like to know how to make a narrowband read AFR on the scanner guage.
Thanks guys. I didn't expect this much feedback, but you are great. The reason i bought HPtuners is that its more powerful than the rest, just was noticing that my efilive could log forever and i...
Thats approx. 27 minutes. Is there any talk to let logs go straight to the drive?
Hi guys,I did a search on anything related to this and found nothing. So here we go, I am trying to log afr error% (tuning VE via WB) and the resolution is great. The framerate is super fast and i...
