The majority of the calculations the PCM has to do are all to answer one not-so-simple question - "right now, under all these different conditions, how long does the next injector pulse need to be?"...
SD OS has always not auto-failed the MAF, always have had to still do it manually no different than the stock OS. The "SD" OS will still run just like stock with the stock MAF and stock MAF settings.
If the first post had been:
"Hey guys, got this thing where it runs on this tune file (file#1 attached) but doesn't on this tune file (file#2 attached). What's up?" and somebody opens the two files...
"Hi, I'm new to all this. I want to make some mistakes, do you think this will be a good place to start making some mistakes? Please don't tell me there are better ways to do it, I am VERY SMART in...
I think what you don't understand yet (but will, when it gets to dyno-time) is that a 6.0 with a cam that big and a typical dirt track drivetrain is going to make way more than your 375/375-wheel...
This is going to go swell, isn't it?
Rather easy to turn an auto trans PCM into a manual with Gen 3s, just disable all the trans-related DTCs and disable Abuse Mode. It's on Gen 4's where you can't convert them just by making edits,...
https://www.hptuners.com/my-account/tunerepository/ - don't take this as an endorsement of the 'use an 8.1 big block tune file' thing, that's just not a good idea.
98 kPa key on, idling at ~40 kPa? What do you see that makes you suspect it's bad? Not slyly trying to say it's not, I just didn't see anything in the log that stood out.

$3500, running/driving condition and not something that's been marinating in mousepiss for the last 4 decades, all aluminum 215 V8? It's...
You have HP Tuners, right?
Do this. Post the tune file from the original (broken) ECM, and a short log file. The log can be as little as 10 seconds of nothing but key on engine off, I just need...

Whatever is happening is not caused by the act of reprogramming a used ECM with SPS.
Did the VIN you're programming it with come out of the old ECM, or off the VIN tag or door sticker?
Let it gather info (the old VIN) from the old ECM, instead of inputting it yourself. It should walk you through the steps, tell you when it's OK to turn things off and swap ECMs, etc. Or at least it...
Oh, well we're well over 50 years then, I think I was at 22 when I finally gave up.
We're not trying to be funny, we're just two guys that have combined between us something like, what is it, 45, 48 years in GM dealerships?

The last bad ECM I saw in a GM looked like this...

HP Tuners only reads/writes 6 of the 8 segments, GM SPS writes all of them.
What are the full VINs of the calibrations you're trying to flash into it/them?
But hang on, how can it be a TMAP if there is only a single sensor output pin? These do not do any kind of weird multiplexing, they output analog voltage.
Odd that you wouldn't mention this...
Just get a proper LSA 3-pin non-T sensor.

If the replacement TCM is new-new and has never had any kind of flash before, HPT won't detect it. If it's a reman and still has some old file in it, or has a generic placeholder calibration, then...
This is what they look like with injectors or O2s bank-swapped

0hz if the MAF is removed, 1hz if it is just failed temporarily for tuning VE. P0101/P0102/P0103 set to MIL on First Error. Engine > Airflow > Dynamic: Dynamic Airflow: High RPM Disable = something...
