Today was the 3rd time I've given 3.0 a fair shot since it was released. My reaction is shared with fellow long-time tuners and I presume many others: The editor is fine , functionally straight...
Put a wideband on the car and you'll know if you're too rich / too lean on startup. If you're really venturing into tuning this thing , you're gonna need one anyways. I use this one for tuning: ...
You're supposed to multiply the afr error histo results to the ve , not add
Overkill? Never heard of it.
No one likes a showoff, lol.

Are you just trying to calculate the new flow rate? Multiply the IFR table by the % difference between your old injectors rated flow and the new injectors. Being off by on the flow rate table by...
Scan menu ---> Close log file. Sometimes that one gets me
What power did this car end up making?
This is the stock stingray motor? How on earth did you make 700whp at 7psi and 10* if I made 610 at 8psi and 18* (meth injection) ??!!
It looks very rich up to 3200rpm. You have a blind base tune on it , you need a wideband and a real tune.
Engine Diag -> P0068 (Max everything out)
Engine Diag -> DTC -> P2227 , P2228 , P2229 , P2230 (Set to No Error Reported, uncheck SES enable)
No need to touch the Driver Demand values , that...
Did they do away with the rear crossover because the intake manifold is in the way?
Yes , I only use plug reading for wot. Checking the annealing point on the ground strap has been incredibly useful and is so easy to do. It's basically telling you , this is the peak cumulative...
Good question , haven't explored EGT's yet. I've heard 1500-1700, but what puzzles me is that I read going too lean can cause EGT to drop.... I would think that would produce more heat and higher...
It's too bad you don't have the tune file to share. I'll bet KR was not pulling enough or completely disabled.
#7 and #8 pistons are usually the first to show signs of excess heat in a situation where the overall afr is lean or spark too high.
What plugs were in there?
Well, we didn't get to see the other pistons, they may have signs of detonation too and #8 just had it the worst.
Vengeance made 1000whp on stock bottom, ported heads, cam, meth, nitrous , non-z c7 . Don't know what fuel though. If you're at 12psi redline you're probably running the 3.7" pulley? The 3.4"...
Good news. My car kept blowing the intake off regardless of clamp tightness until I took the filter off the blow-off valve. Then it miraculously stopped.
Can you run a camera scope into the pump lifter hole and have a look around? Can even tape a magnet to the camera and grab that sucker if you see it
Ok , well regardless my statement stands due to what I've already seen. Anyways , I'm glad you found the problem
That's the 4th time in 2 months I've heard of someone breaking something due to bad info from Texas Speed. They need to get it together or at least learn it's ok to say "We don't know".
Oh wow. This is not the stock pump, correct?
Scenario: Customer pays to have their car towed to you from several hours away, you put the car on the dyno, strap it down , do a pull... you see a ton of false knock, unable to work around it. ...
