I'm really excited, I just bought a used raptor, and then a used supercharger kit on Ebay. It is just the basic (shared belt drive) D1sc procharger kit for the raptor. I'm wondering what my options...
I'll look at the log and see if anything jumps out at me. FWIW, I ditched the PE and the BE and fueled directly from the VE. BE took way too long to engage, and I wanted my AFR to vary with boost...
I honestly don't know how to tell false from real. Suggestions I've been given.
1. Use race gas and see if it is still there
2. take timing form cells with knock, if it is still there, its...
Mostly an open loop tune, you can see that most of my cruising is lean on bank 1. Bad injector or exhaust leak?? How can I troublshoot?

I dropped the timing to a flat 10 above 3500. I still got knock at around 4k, but this time even more than before! AFR around 10.9 with the water/meth spraying and 10 degrees of timing and I got more...
Until I can find some race gas, Im really not sure how to tell if my knock is real or not. I hooked up my water/meth injection and still get some knock. I put it all in a spreadsheet to make sense of...
Should be pretty basic, there should be some good tutorials on getting your VE dialed in. Try to get the best injector data you can first
so you had a lean spike causing the knock?
Did another log this morning...same thing. When my AFR drops because of the water injection, I'm getting KR. Any ideas?
Log file: 44308
Turned on some water/meth injection. Mostly water because I was low on meth, but I figured it would be good to stop the KR if it was real. Look at this log, the KR basically starts...
I was going to run in open loop at all times, but my idle afr was going crazy due to heat soak of my IAT. Once I'm cruising, it gets back on track so I only use the o2's at idle and since my cam has...
It's a speed density. I raped my ve to control all of my fueling. Be and pe set to 1, and the ve handles the afr. Also, closed loop at low rpm low tps, open loop all other times
Here is tonight's log: 44287
added some fuel and a little timing. Can you tell if its knock by looking at it, or do I have to find some race gas? I would pull more timing, but I heard to little...
Its intercooler. Maxing out at 12lbs of boost. The IAT seems high because it is measured at the back of the intake manifold.
Can anyone post some ball park figures for this? I have my table reduced 25% and wondering if it is too sensitive....
well, I have my IAT temp mounted in the back of my intake manifold, with the charge temp disabled. So I read around 130F, not really easy to compare to other IAT readings. I originally thought the...
Running ls1 ks on the ls2 block. I can tell if my sensitivity is off, or if I'm getting knock. I'm getting kr at 4800 rpm, and 5lbs of boost with 11.8 afr and 10 degrees of timing. This is on a built...
Agreed. If using PE only, the car was just fine, it was just a little rich for the low MAP.
As it turns out, raping the VE worked perfectly. I doubt I actually gained anything HP wise, it was...
Yeah when I first upgraded to the 2bar, BE was advertised as tuning feature. Now, it gets spoken of as a safety feature in case you "overboost" for turbo guys or something. For those of use trying to...
The BE feature if told to start at 100kpa probably kicks in at 140kpa
My tune is nice, but if I try to run closed loop I get wild swings in my STFT's. Not a big deal, but it can drive a little funny sometimes. My VE is dialed in, and someone said that my headers are to...
I guess I could set my OLFA, PE, and BE to all =1, and then go to the VE table and increase the values by MAP to hit the desired AFR. Has anyone done this successfully?
Back to working on this. Anyone have any suggestions? Here are the goals:
Close loop idle
Open loop all other times
eq=1 for all MAPs up to 80 or so
eq=1.13 for 80KPA-100
eq=1.3 for KPA>100
...
That might be it then.
I would run OL all of the time, but at idle, my AFR is always going crazy depending on heat soak of the IAT (which is mounted in the back of the manifold). I tried messing...
Is this possible, or am I missing something. If I stay in OL , my AFR is damn near perfect around 14-14.8 for all cells. Car drives great. If I go back into OL, the STFT's are making 20%...
