Just wondering, but why are you guys wanting to read lambda instead of afr?
Thanks for taking the time to post this, will come in handy when I get my car h/c
Pretty sweet setup
Yeah, went to Engine Diag then to Misfire and there will be a couple different tables (forget the names, on my work computer right now). I maxed out the low and medium RPM tables
Just thought I would share a recent problem I had and the solution to it.
I installed a Yank 3600 stall converter and TCI flexplate in my cars 4l60e and immediately had issues with torque...
Going to need to post up your tune file
Appreciate you taking the time to do this write up it has helped me out
hook up a fuel gauge and tape it to your windshield then go for a drive
I vote f-body if you want a fun car that can be decently fuel efficient
How much for the 241 heads?
Yea post the tune. Also check your trans. fluid level, I did a trans service on my car and had it 1 quart low somehow, it would hit the rev limiter on the 1-2 shift and 2-3 shift.
I have a 98 with the bottom of the air filter tray cut out and have not had this problem even in cold weather. I guess every car is different
I don't have the answer to your problem, but definitely would not drill the TB
He means use 5 liter eaters configuration
Check for DTC's x2
You can also check the TPS by unplugging it and measuring voltage from the dk-blue to black wire. Should be less than 1V at closed throttle and over 4V at WOT, if it is you know...
I agree, threw me off at first
So my best bet would be use on of the pre cat locations and tune in open loop? This shouldn't be to big of a deal if I tune the VE before and then switch to OL to do WOT tuning?
Will mounting a WB O2 in the post catalytic bungs affect afr readings? I would like to take a quick look at a friends truck without drilling and welding another bung in. Thanks ahead of time for any...
Thanks for the input guys, I ended up mounting it on the drivers side of the Y pipe for ease of use. I couldn't reach the merge of the Y pipe with the car on the ground and I wanted to be able to...
The manual tells you how to calibrate the sensor. Turn the knob until it reads Cal-, power the sensor up and let the sensor hang in free air for 30 minutes or so,the longer the better according to...
Well I attended the tuning schools seminar in Dallas and thought I would report back with my experience.
Before the class I was quite a newb and only managed to remove tq. management, remove...
Another vote for the tuning schools book, it is awesome, I learned so much from it
Drivers side is what I meant:doh:, Thanks for the input guys. Anybody else have suggestions as to where to mount the wide band?
I recently got a AFX with NTK wideband system and was wondering where I should install the bung on it? I have LT's and ORY on a 98' Z-28.
I know most people put it on the passenger side before...
I know this method deosn't work for some vehicles, I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. :D
Thanks, I'm sure people get asked the same questions a lot and get tired of answering simple...
