Sorry to dredge up an old thread, but I'm having the exact same issue with a 2010 Tahoe. I'll try the fuse pull and see if that works. Would relinking the VATS be useful as well?

Try disconnecting the battery for 30 seconds. I have to do that with my '10 Camaro after a reflash.
Idles great in OL...it's the transition to CL where everything goes to hell.
And yes, I can certainly agree on the "good, trustworthy" part of your comment! The LM-1 is crap...looking at a PLX to...
Actually, I'm not...I've already said I adjusted the tune for cylinder displacement and have scaled the injectors for the idle test, plus the idle air changes noted. Despite my low post count, I'm...
I'm not looking for advice on the tune. I was just asking for some interpretive thoughts on the logs. Think of this as more of a technical discussion...
I'm not using the HP editor on this one, just the HP scanner (the tune was originally done with another editor). The only modifications from stock for this run are the idle parameters in Bill's...
Got an '02 Camaro with bored 6.0L (to 410), FAST heads, 102mm TB, mild cam (232/227 or something close to that, 580 lift), long tube headers. This thing will simply not idle right. Even with those...
2010 Colorado in the beta too?
The Mustang dynos are fine (MD-250 here), but just beware that their tech support after the sale is somewhat lacking. My dyno was down for about 4 months due to spurious PAU feedback spikes that...
That's about right, at least with my setup. Also, remember that the A/F curve needs to be shifted slightly to the left, since there is a small change delay with tailpipe numbers.
I don't put a...
Add timing until you no longer see a torque increase. That will be your peak cylinder pressure. Every engine is different. At low load/low RPM conditions, this might be quite a bit of timing.
Look at it. Seriously. Your 2005 will have the LS1-style PCM (large silver box). Service number is on a sticky right on the cover.
If you don't know the answer to the question, probably best just to leave it as is. There are many parameters that are displayed but don't necessary need to be modified.
Then why would you...
You'll have to flash the ECM back to stock first.
Of course, if that's the case, I think warranty issues related to your tune are the least of your concerns! Maybe throw a blanket over the S/C and hope the tech doesn't see it!
Parking brake *must* be set and brake *must* be applied. (I suggest doing both, as I believe some years required one and not the other.)
I'm a tuner as well, with hundreds of tunes (mostly GM trucks) under my belt. That said, I don't hesitate to recommend the self-tuning approach to a potential customer if I believe they will be...
Do you mind me asking why you're doing a CASE relearn? If you're not getting a P1336 code, then it's not necessary to do the CASE relearn.
I would imagine the only way to positively verify that...
First hit on a Google search for "case relearn":

I would very much like to see this work. I can tell you it doesn't seem to have any effect on an '03 5.3L (I spent a few hours on the dyno trying to get this to work; the WB wouldn't budge from...
I think we tried that, but maybe not in that exact order. I'll give it another shot...thanks for the suggestion!
It's not a function of the HPT software. It's SOP for all GM CKP relearns. Did you by chance research the GM docs first? It's not quite fair to blame HPT because you chose not to do the same...
For cruise, that's OK. But you're not going to achieve that, because the computer will always try to adjust for 14.7 in closed loop.
Over 200 tunes, have not locked up any that couldn't be unlocked. You have to use common sense: Make sure your laptop battery is charged (I don't even trust that, as most older laptops do not...
Innovative does seem to have their share of QA issues. The first LM-1 I received was DOA (outputs were shot -- very common problem with these units). The replacement unit has worked flawlessly in...
