HP doesn?t have access to the scalars to force the cams into the correct mode at idle.
Try plugging in your dongle, internet connection and try opening?

Datalogging a CVAE7BZ and i'm having the same drop out issues, but no surprises there. Would be great to get a fix to help resolve issues i'm having with the car or tune.

So far I?ve used the stock strategy and just changed all the tables to mirror a 03/04 Cobra. Compression is different, but yeah cams might be different also, good point. Knock sensor has been...
Stock 200 series tune file
02' Cobra with Eaton swap. Tune from a local shop....not for use as a go by!
These are two stock Aussie spec 2002 Cobra's.
The file 'stock with VIN- copy' was SCT tuned and had been retuned to stock with the xcal1 and read. Strategy CVAE7BZ. One of the tunes on the xcal1...
The Eaton swapped 02' Cobra (Its an Aussie import) I have still uses the stock strategy (CVAE7BZ) with very few changes! Can post if you're curious! Being an Aussie tuner, they wouldn?t have had...
If anyone has stock 2003/04 Cobra files in hpt format I would be keen to get a copy if possible! I have a a few reads of 01 Cobra?s and have an Eaton swapped 01 Cobra so need a good stock tune as a...
There is a 2800 rpm limit for stall, not sure if HP has that in there. If you have addressed everything else relating to trans trunc, it could be this. See if you can find a 2800rpm limit in your...
What exact DMR were you logging in the scanner? Could be a scanner issue. If you add 5 degrees via bkt/mbt, you should see a timing increase and subsequent power increase (subject to fuel quality...
I was chatting to you on FB messenger about it. If it was a simple tune fix...I would have figured it out already. I very much doubt anyone here will provide any meaningful help.
No misfire codes log. I have disabled misfire detection / repetitive spark etc, but with mine I simply have a drop in airflow and corresponding drop in inj_pw. Only for a few seconds.
No.
Correct way is to adjust airflow tables so the PCM knows it has more air and will increase injector pulsewidth accordingly.
Yeah it's there in HP, just change values to 1 for forward gears.
Looks like a B-series car, definitely not strange and is ideal for a race application. Won't be the cause of the issues.
I do, but I can't edit anything / add ID etc. I would have to send the file off for Eric to edit...nothing I can it do.
I loaded an X4 tune in my car the other night and tried sucking it out. Could read it but not view any parameters. Check sum failed etc. Is Eric unlocking X4 tunes for people? I like the ability to...
I wouldn't bother, you barely feel the difference. If anything, tune the gearbox if it's auto.
Like any car, especially naturally aspirated, you want to rely on bolt on mods to give you power potential...and then tune to suit. I personally don't bother with NA V8's with few mods.
Yeah the don't reply thing is true. Nothing worse than being teased. I'm probably guilty of that.
Fuel/emissions....a little. Every bits helps when it comes to economy. Personally I couldn't care. You can change engine braking via decel timing. That together with DFCO can help a tip-out clunk.
HP is missing the usual scalars for disabling DFCO. DFCO is part of the torque control strategy, so you can disable the Torque Moduel Switch but I wouldn't recommend it myself. Fuel sprayed on the...
