Thx again. LT4 is Gen V. I will try to make changes to ECM 18060 to see if it make a difference. I'm sure that there are a lot of guys with crate engines that want to do the same.

Thank you so much. I did a compare and saw the changes to ECM 18060. Looks straight forward. But I must be missing something as I still cannot find the other table you mentioned ECM 18040. Watching...
So I assume the tables you were looking at are not from my file as while I do have control by desired %(under control by %). My desired ECT (under control by ECT) heading is just that and not current...
They are discrete on/off. It turns on one fan at 207F and the other at 227F. This info is in the GM literature and I can confirm in the real world. I know GM does the crate programming a little...
Have a 2019 connect and cruise LT4 8L90 crate package in my 66 C10. Using the ECU fan control to turn on/off my two cooling fans. They presently turn on at 207 and 227F. Seems high and would like to...
Found a broken wire just back from the plug. Re terminated. Whala!
So truck is back together. I installed new updated idler and belt, assembled MAF plug checking and rechecking wiring. It had thrown multiply codes because of wiring pulled out of MAF plug, so reset....
Awesome tip. I have a couple coming. I assume you take the connector apart, then crimp the terminals and slide them into the connector, then reassemble?
Here in Canada that connector from GM is over $100. Great price under $3 on the link but the 8 weeks factory lead time doesn't work for me.
No, it pulled the wires out of the plug. One wire broke so I will have to shorten a couple inches. No issue as I have extra length. Hopefully GM has just a plug.

Thx, Need to find out how to physically re-terminate the wires
Just finished using HPtuners to mod. my 8L90. Had idler pulley seize on my 2019 LT4 which took out the the two drive belts which pulled the wiring out of the Mass air flow plug. What are my...
I have found info here on the 8L90 is limited. I am new here also and I wanted to just change the part throttle shift table. There were many offers from others here to do it, for a cost, but few to...
I am raising part throttle shifts. It maybe a "connect and cruise" thing, but the normal part throttle shift tables don't seem to be used. Took me a couple of tries to realize. Not wanting to try...
Figured it out all by myself. Now to get the shift points right.
I reread both E92 and T87 and this time it allowed me to place in one file. Made changes to part throttle shift schedule and went to write to vehicle (connect and cruise LT4/8L90). Got message to buy...
So I have read my LT4 8l90 in my 66 Cgt. I have previously used the tire/gear wizard to change my tire size and rear gear ratio in scanner mode. Read two ecu's and gave me two files. I have modified...
Thankyou. Thinking I don't need big changes to be happy. Do I need to consider converter lockup table or should it be fine?
Hope I did this right. I see normal part throttle shifts and throttle position? Is the coloured portion mph? What are the pattern A and B used for? 7-8 shift after 56% 272 mph, why would they do...
Sounds super. But I have no idea where that is? Can you give me a hint?
Am a newbie here. Have a 2019 LT4 8L90 connect and cruise package in my 66 C10. Since I've been on the road I noticed that the driving rpm's seem low. Works well otherwise. Driving around at 30 mph ...
Got a P18C2 code (internal mode switch) on my 2019 LT4 8L90 8 speed connect and cruise. Replaced the internal mode switch. Code changed to P18c2 "permanent". GM dealer never heard of it. Did some...
So I have a similar problem. I have a connect and cruise LT4 and 8L90 crate that is installed in my 66 C10. Put 500 miles on it last fall and first time I took it out this spring I put my foot into...
Read the two controllers for my crate LT4 8L90 . Does the tire/gear wizard modify any engine parameters or just the transmission or both?
