You will be able to read/write with the MPVI2, but scanning isn't great.

I've looked into these. The ECU doesn't do much in these, so not worth the effort to support as there isn't much you can calibrate.
298B I would think. If it fails to read, let support know and we can investigate. You will need to send support an infolog, as well as debug.dat file (C:\My Documents\HP Tuners\Settings\Debug.dat)
