Oh, the only reading this messes up is how much fuel is being consumed. It's actually using twice as much as it thinks. And the dash shows I'm getting twice the MPG I really am.
AFR parameters are...
I'm running FIC 104# injectors (@4 bar) with an E40 and because of this scaled by 50%. But I halved the engine displacement and the injector constant and leave stoich at 14.7.
This has the side...
This is all that was needed on my '06 GTO. The ISS sensor is not used. I did not re-pin the transmission connector at all. Rather, I made all of the wiring changes at the T42.
Several months...
I gave my word I wouldn't share the data. I hope you understand.
I don't know why either. If the parms only work well for these injectors, why not let them be public? More reason for people to purchase this specific injector I would think. Certainly I'm not the...
You must have overwritten the reprogrammed TCM. The reprogramming service P4Less offers turns off P0787 and P2764.
You can get rid of these another way without reprogramming. I'll bet when you...
I don't see the tune in the repository yet, so here you go.

I posted my scaled E40 in the repository. Starts and idles great. I had to promise FIC not to publicize the injector parameters, so most of those are changed back to the stock parms. You'll need...
Corrupt file
I posted my tune file here recently if you'd like to use it as a base for the 4L80e shift points and lockup (stock 3.46 gearing).
If you run into a problem where the car...
Scaling the entire calibration by 50% instead of the Stoich AFR table has been working great for my setup, even with an E40.
The only real issue I had was with cold and warm cranking. Setting the...
Hang in there Tom. Once it's finally running well, you'll quickly forget all about these "bumps in the road".
If you could post your original M6 tune, it would be much easier for someone to help...
Why is it that Beta version 2.23.469 won't open this HPT file? (Array out of bounds) I just D/L'd this beta a couple weeks ago. What version are you using?
Because I could never feel or hear the misfire, I've disabled misfire detection in the tune. I did this so the TCC would stay locked up.
Sort of like torque management...I just got rid of it...
I'm using Version 2.22. Perhaps that's the difference.
That's a very good point that I hadn't considered. I get the offset by comparing the time stamp of the change in commanded AFR versus the timestamp of the actual change in AFR as detected by the WB....
No updates yet. I haven't taken the time to swap injectors around. Maybe today if I get some motivation. :)
This is MUCH closer, thank you DSteck! I was able to apply this to my existing test log and get plausible values. I can't wait to try it live.
By the way, I added .MET to the PIDs for:
...
My WB is probably too far back in the stream. The approximate 300 msecs delay I see is at WOT.
Just something I'll have to deal with.
This:
[PID.2126.MET] / [SENS.30.MET] * [PID.2321.MET] * 1000
Which I believe is GMVE = MAT / MAP * CYLAIR * 1000
I've attached the CFG. Taken from Post#38, then added some pids.
I'm trying this with an E40 using Tiffer's CFG from post #38. I've added a few more PIDs to the table to try and debug why the calculated GMVE is very far off from where it should be.
When...
I'm sure this will never happen, but here it goes...
When logging using the WBO2, I've noticed there is about a 300 msec delay between the time the AFR actually changes, and the time the WB sends...
Nice! It appears I can use one of these if I move some wires around and get a housing for it.
Thanks!
DSteck,
What kind of MAF are you running? I'm still using the stock LS2 MAF on the E40 and it's maxing out at 7.5 PSI. I want to try MAF only like you're doing, but I can't until I get a bigger...
4 years later...I can confirm MAF works in the SD OS. You can even run MAF only...I've done it. :)
