Happens pretty often for me, but I thought it was because I'm on a Macbook running Windows 10 in Parallels.
Awesome! Thank you man.
Thanks for the offer 2xLS1, I think I'm going to send Bill my tune and see what he can do. I really can't remove the PCM from my car since it's my daily driver and sees about 60-70 miles a day. Lol
...
Double post.
Well thanks a ton for pointing that out. Had a feeling it would be something like that. I'd like to be able to bump that up. Being able to command advance that high may not help LSx guys out any but...
Bump.
I'd hate to think I've hit a ceiling of 46* advance. There is quite a bit of room to improve the cruise areas as far as what the engine wants. I wonder if this is something that can be altered in the...
First off, I am running an 0411 PCM with a 2003 Corvette Coupe base tune to control a super mild 406 sbc and 4L60e transmission.
406 SBC with the following mods:
Patriot Performance Freedom series...
 Don't I feel smart.. sorry bout that.
Yep. Time to step back into the shadows and lurk again. :secret:
I think this is what your looking for.
I said I'd step back but I noticed that when the speedo is zero the tps is 26% and when you start rolling the tps drops to 17%
I think I will step back and learn now. This is a little beyond my knowledge.
Certainly a perplexing situation and I'd like to see what solves it.
EDIT: Irrelevant.
What transmission are you using?
EDIT: Nvm I see now in your sig.
Yay lol
I can't see the burst knock in the log without the config you used haha
Have you done the RussK idle air config in gear from a cold start? I ask because your in gear RAF is the same as P/N.
Log the rest too. But add burst knock pid to your table and add it in the chart. Then start logging. I think it should be under engine > advance.
I'm not quite sure what you're asking here. I don't know that you can tune to make the turbo spool more in that way. AFAIK the only thing affecting how it spools is airflow and the actual sizing of...
Log burst knock before and after the change to make sure that's the problem. GL
That's commanding 8* retard for burst knock. You are commanding 12* at WOT and timing kept getting knocked down to 4* that's 8* retard. Zero that table out to disable burst knock.
The TPS isn't causing this timing problem. *I think* it is burst knock. PCM anticipating spark knock based on delta airflow. With boost there is a high delta and it looks like the PCM is pulling...
Can you post your tune?
I saw a max of only 94% TPS as well, mostly 93%. I don't know if that has anything to do with your problem but I need to see the tune.
Awesome! :yay:
Off topic, but do you have a video of it? I'd like to see.
I guess the only thing you won't be able to do is dial in your in gear idle. Other than that I think everything else will be just about the same more or less.
