Yes. Connect to the vehicle but do not start the scanner, Then read DTC's You should be able to see the readiness status if you start the scanner they wont come up.
I am going to try the filter and see how much that helps.
I see what your talking about now. for some reason I never noticed that there. I will give it a try and see how it works.
ok. Thanks guys! I have my filtering set to 25 and have been watching the shift points and leaving those out. Sometimes I try and go back and hit those during normal driving sometimes it works...
Anyone here tune a VVE with a manual trans? Any tips on how to prevent the in-between shifts data from messing with numbers? I am street tuning my car and when logging I continuously get numbers I...
Any Idea why they wouldn't? My Manual stock was not set to 100% in the low area's but now after the dyno tune it is. I am trying to better understand how this table affects throttle response.
That is the Pin I used during my install. I don't recall the connector but I do remember it had a blue insert that needed to be removed to access the pins.
Went around logging some new PID's and was able to reproduce the code on a regular basis while cruising on the highway in 6th gear. NO WOT or Hard acceleration necessary.
And I've found During a...
Yes is does come with a breakout harness. I've thought about the harness causing a issue but I figured if it was I would see it on the scanner.
What I wish I had was a stock car to compare things...
I can see that after a few days logging it appears TP & TP 2 are always opposite of each other and if you add them together they always equal 5v.
I hope the tps isn’t bad, car only has 2000 miles...
I keep battling this P0121 Code that seems to only appear under moderate / Wide open throttle. The Code States P0121 is a generic OBD-II code which indicates that the Engine Control Module (ECM) has...
599 on a dyno dynamic's If I am not mistaken. I haven't received the graphs yet. The plan is to get back on my local dyno where I got my before numbers from and have a true comparison.
The harness...
I appreciate that! I've read that those codes should be removed but that was on other platforms and I don't want to get into setting stuff not to report when it could be fix other ways .
I just had my Camaro Dyno tuned and I am getting P0121 & P1121 codes popping up. I cannot seem to reach the tuner so I was hoping to get some help here to fix the problem myself.
Car is a Manual...
Two days ago I pulled every fuse and relay I could that wouldn't stop the scanner from working, Unhooked the ABS module, TCS module/motor and still had a 0.02v fluctuation in my tps voltage so I...
So today I pulled the Cooling fan #2 relay and all the voltage and % Jumps stopped with KOEO of coarse but now I need my cooling fan, So I cut the ground wire @ pin 60 and ran a new ground from the...
The fans are connected to the stock harness so they ground with the relays and pcm like the factory fans do.
The battery is in the stock location and all the connections look good and are...
I thought about that but I don't think my issue will be solved with another tb this goes way beyond that I wish it was that simple.. I started logging ignition voltage and found that during start up...
44433Thanks for your reply. I have been logging tps v & % and today verifed them with the meter, I did a full sweep of the TPS by hand before doing anything else and it seems all my voltages with...
When I started the car and checked the ground wire for the tps at the connector I had .60v
So I checked the ground wire for continuity from the connector at the TPS and the computer. I went...
Yeah I've done the reset a few times.
I am going to try and inspect the ground wiring back to the pcm and ohm it out for high resistance.
For example today's cold start up... right after the car starts running voltage and % go right up and cause the car to idle high and eventually pull timing.
Wires to the tps are Blue, Black & Grey...
I just want to update this thread and answer some questions I didn't realize were posted.
I've found the problem to be a erratic TPS sensor at times during start up it reads 1-2% throttle position...
It honestly could of been and I never noticed. I probably wouldn't of noticed this time if it wasent for the fact I had my hood open in the garage and had to close it to pull the car outside where I...
