Start by correcting your MAF and VVE. There are multiple walkthroughs on this forum and even YouTube that show/teach you how to do it.
I'll even get you started for with some excellent 6L80...
Posting your tune would have been a lot easier and would give people the opportunity to give you a real answer
You can leave it at 14.1 if you want, or change it to 14.7. It won't have any effect
Stoich for gasoline is 14.7 and you tuned it to 13.8 - 14.2 so that's why it's reading rich. Gotta Start using lambda. O2 sensors read in lambda regardless so 1 lambda is stoich no matter what fuel...
Try this out. Just failed the MAF properly and returned timing tables back to stock. Post a log when/if you decide to try it
I'm confused, are you trying to fail the MAF and run in speed density? The PID in your log says the MAF is failed but it's definitely not failed correctly in the tune. You should probably put your...
Can't tell much about the trans with that log but your fuel trims are still 12-15% rich at low RPM/load. You might want to dial in those areas with STFT+LTFT math on both your MAF and VE.
Post your tune and log.
The VE is wrong because it was previously calibrated with low fuel pressure.
Spark tables are almost stock (according to my compare file)
PE settings seem fine to me
There is a wideband in the log
It might seem like bad new but it's actually good news. Your fuel pump is doing it's job now and your extremely rich starting at around 3000 rpm, to the point of your probably washing down your...
The stock table will absolutely be better than the one that was in there. That was terrible. It's just a starting point anyway
Here's your posted tune with the MAF failed and stock 99' silverado 5.3 High/Low octane tables back in place.
When tuning with the MAF failed remember that you'll be referencing the low octane...
Welcome back. Looks like your posted tune is set up correctly for MAF tuning
Correct... I suppose I should be more specific rather than encompass the details in "runs"
You need to add to your logs dynamic airflow, EQ commanded, vehicle speed, just to name a few. Your MAF and VVE need work and it idles rough because your timing goes from 25 degrees down to 4. As...
You won't hurt anything. It's just a preference as long as it runs/drives well
Alvin is your guy then. His website is in his signature
In the OS tab of your tune
Your trims are 20%+ rich in your idle and low RPM areas and at very low throttle inputs your commanding as low as .84 and not even close to being in boost? That's way too rich. Do you have a...
Without seeing a log you can try two things for now. First, put your timing tables back to stock and get rid of the "burble" tune. Second, go into Engine -> Fuel -> Oxygen Sensors -> and disable LTFT...
Log looks like the MAP if functioning as it should. I thought the DSX kits were PnP controlled? That would be cool if it's a CAN controller now
The top threads under each section of the forum are labeled "sticky" as they're usually important or FAQ's.
Negative. For a SD tune I would recommend using a custom OS. Either a SD specific one (if available) or use a 2 BAR OS scaled to 1 BAR values. They still reference the high octane table so it gives...
borrone, just remember with the MAF failed timing will reference the low octane table
Halfway there. Need a log still
