Thank you,
I do have Aftermarket heads, ported supercharger, upper and lower pulleys, and a cam. I guess i need to ask HP tuners for the Manifold volume add in.
Also i said i would report back...
Ok thank you, I will report back later today
i can provide more data if that is needed.
With all this said.. Is the consensus that it is actually a slow responding WB or actually a lean spike? the length of time from when EQ Ratio drops to requested and when the WB registers the same...
i see your point Mike, but that doesn't explain why the reading got leaner after going WOT than it was just prior when holding the throttle steady. i guess ill trigger PE and see what happens just to...
The reason i suspect it is a lean spike is because you can see the Lambda reading climb from ~1.0 to 1.11 before dropping to .80 after stabbing the throttle.
It is an Innovate MTX-L, are those...
oh joy.. ok well time to do some more reading i guess.
Good afternoon all,
I get a lean spike/delay when stabbing the throttle. It happens from a roll and from a stop at the track.
You can see in my screen shot the EQ Ratio has dropped to my commanded...
thank you again, i do not currently use this method, but i have in the past :(... That does answer a another question i had been wondering about, if the aforementioned method actually worked in...
like schpenxel said,
Make sure you increase your idle rpm and min airflow or the car will not idle (most likely) once warm.
Thank you Mowton
i am referring to the method of inputting larger injectors (FIC1300's for example) by using say FIC 1000's flow data in the flow rate vs pressure table. Then you divide 1300 flow rate by the 1000's...
I feel if the CylAir (g/cyl) value correlates to HP then it is a useful tool when street tuning a car. Long story short i lengthened my intake tube to place my air filter in a "better" location (in...
Thank you schpenxel, i wasn't looking for a way to calculate my HP/TQ from CylAir (g/cyl) but more of a confirmation that it does correlate to HP/TQ. Meaning if that value goes up, then my HP/TQ has...
Sorry if this has been asked before, but i cannot seem to find a clear answer.
Is there a correlation between and engine HP/TQ and CylAir (g/cyl)? Meaning Higher CylAir (g/cyl) = higher HP or TQ,...
Thanks Ben, is there any way to data log AFR error with the values tapered? or do i have to change my wide band to display lambda, and log lambda error?
First things first, what do you set your Stoic AFR table values to when using a Flex fuel sensor on say a 2010 CTS V?
I am having a discussion with some guys, and they say it needs to read...
Was your car faster when shifting at 6000 vs 6300?
What shift RPM do you recommend, and at what time do you typically raise the shift RPM?
Haha I'll take that as a no. :p
Well that did work, but because of the reduced Tq management it does spin a tad when changing gears which engages TCS. Is there a way to "reduce" the effectiveness so to speak of the TCS? I would...
im about to go make a quick run and see how it reacts. Thanks for the help DSteck.
ok ill give that a shot.
Could i add pressure to speed up the filling process in an attempt to speed up the shift process? Or do the adaptive features of the transmission do that automatically...
ok, so do i just zero out the shift rpm's and set the shift MPH to the desired MPH? i also understand that commanded is not always what you will get, but i did not have this issue until modifying the...
I reduced my transmission TQ Management to ~50% in part throttle areas and tapering off to ~15% at WOT shifts. After doing this i hit the fuel cut briefly during my 2-3 shift when i have traction...
