Matbe i'm missing something my 2008 Vette factory setting for slip is already set to 0s..
da bump...
wondering same thing,i have a 2008 a6 and there is suppose to be updates for tcm and ecm,is there any way to get it without going to dealer?
snet you a pm
i'll try it this weekend and report back, thanks for the responses. any more?
looking at the 2009 cadillac cts-v(supercharged) trans tune(from the repository) it looks like it would be a major improvement over the 08 a6 vette trans tune.anyone see any problems trying it?
what about disconnecting the battery will that reset it? it works on a few ford products.
sounds good, thanks for the advice,i'll do it....
my laptop is running vista now i just received the free upgrade to windows 7 is it worth doing ?anything else i would have to do to run the hp program ? my hp tuner is working great now and don't...
and yes on the stf (.5000)also i also reduced the cold multiplyer by 50%
yes except for mph shift points(mine is a 2.56 and the 2010 was a 2.73 gear)
oops didn't realize the beast was a name for an aftermarket sun shell......
may experiment with higher pressures for a firmer shift at part throttle later on
nothing i have found so far i also reduced TM after trying it to make sure it worked ok
i had good luck with it on my 08 vette, the 2010 trans tune is even better, paddle shifts are way quicker
i beleive sun shell breakage is common on these transmissions, the aftermarket has stronger replacements.
nahhh.... a car salesman? as long as he thinks he's gonna make a sale he wouldn't care if you test drove in a bunny suit........ :D
Thanks
this is always a hot debate topic on Corvette Forum.....wish i knew for sure
tried to look at your vette a6 tune but it keeps saying index was outside the bounds of the array i'm an extreme newbie looking for a good starting point for my 08 vette, any ideas how to veiw? TIA
