I always have a code that pops up but it isn't my SES light, its my service vehicle light. The other failsafe way to disable the MAF aside from setting the fail Hz to 0 is to unplug it. :)

Yes, granted there were some issues with the scaling based on the flow chart I received fro them, but that issue was addressed.
Vehicle is in open loop. Not accessing short term fuel trims during open loop either, as noted in tune.
Commanding the vehicle to a richer open loop will alleviate some of the surging and gets it...
Hence my edit including the scan prior to the OS and the problem was there and then went away at frame 2000. Problem was there prior.
