How about post some data we can look at? Definitely interested in your project...
You are correct on IFR.
The thing idles...success (for now). Go tune MAF and VE. Once that's less than 2-3% across the board, for both, you're done.
Once you're done with MAF and VE for part...
He poses an outstanding question...might have an answer.
For MAF tuning (WOT) you leave PE enable, but disable VE. Therefore, you're assuming that at some level (X Hz) the MAF is operating in WOT...
Anything's possible. Post a scan and tune.
Are you using Iridum plugs? If so, throw them away.
I've got a buddy (PM "5th Gen SS") using it in a 2011 Camaro 2SS. Works nicely, and because the computer thinks the A/C pressure is through the roof, the fans stay on while the AFX is hooked up...
I bought the LM-1 for $150 off a buddy that got an LM-2...I hear you can't get those anymore. Then he turned around and got an AFX because he didn't like the LM-2.
Everyone raves about the AFX. ...
Read this (http://www.hptuners.com/forum/showthread.php?t=24869) then post whatever questions you have afterwards. I'm not a big fan of the idle tuning on the LS2 tuning guide, but otherwise a solid...
Figured out it has to do with the way the Scanner reads from the Sensors compared to how it processes PID information. If I change all histos, gauges and charts from Engine Speed (Sensor) to Engine...
Did you ever get a fix for this?
I figured out that it's the sensors, so if you re-do everything using the PIDs rather than Sensors, it works (for the most part). I'm still having issues with my...
Alrighty...this isn't a tune issue. This is a Scanner issue. The Table reads properly, but the Chart and Histos don't. I'll email support.
No dice. Also doesn't explain why RPM and fuel injector duty are off.
That's what's in my stock tune also. I'll give it a shot...
Try this.

I'm a little late, and I'll be honest, I didn't read EVERYTHING. Anyhow, your engine and cam specs are very close to a stock LS7. I'd pull Stock Z06 tunes for a starting point for fueling and...
Transmission: I haven't tuned a 6-spd auto, but attached is what I use for an A4; maybe you can modify to fit your application. I had similar problems after erroneously adjusting my Shift MPH table...
Your VE table looks altered, but is that stock? MAF table looks stock. PE table looks stock. FTs are all over the place.
I'd start with the basics: MAF, VE, WOT, Spark. You've got it easy...
Try one of these.
Having a problem with my Scanner right now, but will try the method of just disabling MAF to tune the whole table (leaving PE on).
The Scanner is reading half the actual value for Vehicle Speed,...
Get HPTuners Pro and a wide band O2 sensor (easier to interface with the Pro box). I've got the LM-1 and like it a lot; a lot of guys swear by the AFX.
Then tune it. Plenty of open source...
Post a scan and tune file.
I've never seen AFR affected by a t-stat alone...then again, I've never seen anyone just change a t-stat...
Tune the MAF and VE. Then run SD only for a day, see how you like it. Then run MAF only, see how you like it. Both have pros and cons.
You also didn't say what you were going to use this car...
Update: Vehicle Speed, RPM and Fuel Injector Duty read properly in the PID, but not in the histos, chart or gauges.
Please see attached scan, config and tune.
Basically, RPM, Vehicle Speed and Fuel Injector Duty are displaying as half of what they actually are. All other data appears to be unchanged.
I have...
