I meant VENOM haha, if he has no sort of correction in a PID form the numbers he is seeing would make sense
Are you using a custom PID to correct the scanner values to match the table values?
<([PID.2172] - 10) * (-1)> Intake
<[PID.2178] - 6> Exhaust
lb/min will rise only when airflow is increased, so if boost is not being increased you will need either cams(more flow at higher RPM), headwork, or a larger turbo haha. my car currently peaks...
i dont think anything in the LNF is solely dependant on a single table... You could say the MALT and DAL's set kinda like a baseline as far as boost is concerned then the Wastegate duty cycle fine...
I have a friend who had a really hard time with his engine running very rough especially at idle. He had reassembled it and checked his timing chain several times and did it by the book. Sometimes it...
What exactly was done/replaced on this car before it started acting up? Something certainly seems off with the car...Is it possible that the timing chain has jumped a few teeth?
Id say it is spraying way too much fuel looking at that log. Every time you start cranking the cyl 1 inj pulse gets pegged over 60!
Bump the 800RPM/30% load column in Optimum Spark up some to smooth it out, its jumping from 20% to 30% then back to 20% causing the big spikes and timing drops.
Iv heard mention of using the...
Do you by chance let the car warmup by idling a few minutes while it is cold outside? Or are you saying that on highway your instantaneous MPG is at 25-26?
i was just saying that it disabled the LTFT with all zeros, i only noticed it because i was messing around and after plugging the purge sol. back in my LTFT's were still disabled lol. I run 15's in...
You dont have to unplug the purge solenoid to disable LTFT, just go to TQ Mgt Inj Disable and zero out the right column. I ran it that way for a while but lost almost 2 mpg's so i stopped lol
if you look at the top of the page it says "unknown id", which i think means that the scanner does not know what kind of engine/car it is supposed to be setup for.. i had a similar issue after i...
Howard county, MD. Lots of old people where i live haha
That sucks man, i still have some fine tuning to do but the way it is currently you wouldnt notice it while driving really... only when you review the logs. Depending on coolant temp the ign advance...
Sure thing, i was referring more to the car RPM's dropping to 400 and back up but the drop you were asking about doesnt look too bad either lol. Finally getting a good grasp on how to change the...
did you retune the MAF calibration and all that stuff? Also i believe you need to make sure the hot pipe does not physically contact the throttle body housing.. needs a small gap so its not metal on...
yea thats normal, i just didnt scroll far enough through the log lol.
heres where i am now with my warm idle, seems pretty happy! i dont know which log it was but even when i turned on the A/c the car kept timing up and didnt freak out too bad. Iv also managed to have...
can you post the log and config files you were using?
are you logging MAF hz and pasting those by half to the values in the MAF table? I would imagine you need to do the same as what I do with my cobalt. You need to make a histogram that has the same...
what kind of car/year/model?
Im not sure Venom, lol
Does your fuel pressure ever oscillate at idle when warm? should look like a bunch on ramps in a row and under the hood you will here the solenoid go click... click...click...
it should be fine, you will probably have to rework the idle some after it tho
It says disabled, that was one of the good starts when cold. Every now and then the log shows the Inj. Pulse width rise while Rpm's are dropping and then it loads up causing the car to shake and...
