Are you using an actual FF operation system?
Write entire creates an exact clone of the old PCM you get the calibration out of. including the VIN. You will probably have to do the 30 minute VATS relearn when you install the new PCM in the van.
You are going to have to license the new PCM. With HPT you always have to have a license for the file you are wanting to flash and the file that is in the PCM being flashed. Then you can just write...
What are the main operating systems numbers of each PCM? Not the PCM service numbers?
Sorry I got your thread mixed up with another I was reading that was using a Chinese TB. No IAC on a 03 ETC
The rest of your problems is just tuning for the cam. Although the IAC passageways on the Chinese throttle bodies can cause some of those issues too.
And if you put a parts store brand MAF junk on it I would put the original Delphi MAF back on it.
P0101 is a predicted airflow diagnostic. You changed the airflow with a larger displacement engine, a cam and a different intake manifold. So the amount of airflow through the MAF is not what is...
If it still runs fine with the code set then set the code to NER. I had to do that on a 08 Escalade a few years ago and never heard back from the customer.
And you are saying then that that file is writeable or just viewable.
I understand you are trying to add the physical sensor but why? If it already was a FF truck was the virtual flex not working? The problem is the earlier FF P59 trucks that used a sensor, those...
Those P59 PCMs can be had around here at salvage yards for $20. If you already had a tune file for that PCM just pick up a used one and write entire the unlocked file you have to the used one. It...
Locking involves changing the key part of the seed/key. I doubt you have the tools to do it. It requires more than just having HP Tuners. The ability to read the PCM and save it as a true bin file....
You can unbrick a P59 pretty easy but to actually unlock one that the key has been changed in is a little trickier.
Changing to a COS doesn’t keep things up to date. It changes it to a different type.
Using a Lingenfelter TRG-200?
While changing the cyl vol on Gen 3s changes the numbers in the VE table it doesn't change the actual airflow. Credit goes to NicD on LS1tech for laying it out the best I've ever seen. See Post #11...
If you compare before and after the VE table will be different.
06 Only and it would include Sierras. And if you are doing V8s it would only be for the V8s. V6s would be completely separate. And unless something has changed when you do the next one you have to...
Was probably burst knock if you didn't have that disabled.
Yea, so was I.
And I have had many set P0121 codes at .7V and higher but if you want to say I'm wrong about .05V, go right ahead Geez. I have never had a problem stopping at .65V
Go talk to some transmission shops/builders about what is the #1 thing that goes out first on GM 6 speed transmissions.
You can go as high as .65V on the closed tps voltage and it will still reset to 0% and not set tps codes. That gives it a little extra air around the closed blade for a cam and not have to drill the...
Keep the converter unlocked until 5th and 6th gear 50 mph and above. With 3.08 gears you need to take advantage of the torque multiplication an unlocked converter provides. Your TC lock up clutch...
