Shhhh.... Don't tell my car because it has had the MAF depinned for 50+ track days using only the IAT1 sensor running VE only with 1000cc ID injectors.
x2 on OTTP = steaming pile.. had the same problem with 80's and his tune never could get it to come off like 10:1 gas.
Switched to T1development's 1000cc's to which they provided the injector...
Key things to look for, if idle is a lot more than commanded idle and you have really low timing, like -5 your scaler is way too low. It's trying to correct an idle overspeed first with timing, then...
Trying to.. have the same off idle stumble as everyone else. Looks like when it comes off the idle circuit it goes way lean faster than the injectors. Below and above about 1200-1800 it's fine.
...
You've got something making it overspeed like a lean or vac leak/hose off.
When I put the calc'd values for the LS4 TB it was doing that and after about 1 minute it would go full lean and crap...
Did something change with your TB? Try uping your scaler, add like 1000 and see if it gets better or idles too low but you get your timing back then it something has changed your scaler... or a...
Check to see if your actual idle is greater than commanded idle. I've been farting around all day with a larger TB and I was getting -5* at a + 80 rpm idle. It was considering that a overspeed and...
Shouldn't matter Lambda 1 is Lambda 1. If your stoich is set to 9.8 then Lambda 1 =9.8 gauge thinks L1 (9.8)= 14.68 gas equivalent and Lambda .75 = 11.0 gas equivalent.
It's better to go gas to E...
That's alot rich on gas until it mixes up. My car we pumped it out using the fuel pump disconnected at the fuel rail so it wasn't too bad for too long.
My son's GTO we estimated how much gas and...
What and how much was in the tank when you filled it up with E?
So what was it?
Doh.. sorry, must be about time for those glasses..
nothing to see here..
I had a similar problem when I changed my sensor but it was mechanical. Did you do the whole sensor phasing, lining up the notches in the body? I did all that but the sensor is weighted such that it...
It can be done on the street if you filter out the transitional things like decel. Steady and smooth is the key.
I've found that people who don't know how to tune the VE table (where I started) or who don't wish to spend the time it takes to tune VE (mail order tunes) usually dismiss it as "that's not the way I...
Thanks to all for saving my arse. Voltage offset works like a champ.
As expected the VE table that I had dyno dialed needed to be reduced pretty much globally by 20%. IFR was maxed for...
Thanks, I like what I'm hearing. Will give a try Saturday.
After scratching my head, it may not matter since it's under 1.9ms. Also found it weird that it would round down from .0251 to .0234.
Also found weird that the samples showed a short pulse of 4 and...
That's really cool! But have question about Min Pulse width. The Siemens 80 LB Injectors spec sheet shows a 1.9 ms min PW. (1.3 open/.07 close) so I'm confused with the locked cell (B99)of .102ms...
Any ideas on a good one?
Same here, would rather not put 60's back in. Would like to make the power that require 80's.
The one I've seen here are just IFR, the voltage offset seems to be "magic."
P12 maxes out at about 60# injectors so there seem to be various methods to black magic the increased injectors....
Just a WAG, but why is there a giant spike in the voltage offset at -20 kPa? Looks like the 4.5x-20 got pasted vertically, seems like a 4.23584ms offset at all voltages can't be right. I'm seeing the...
