I am working on a 2004 z06 5.7 liter car and apparently the default imperial config won't load the knock setting. The rest is there, but KR isn't. A little help would be great.

Did some driving and it's....odd.
It seems like at idle my afr is really off at times. Like I will be sitting still and it will read 10s, then switch to reading normal 14ish in the same maf cell....
I am sure something else is causing it because in the past my idle was fine and I never had to mess with my scaler.
The only recent things that have happened are I replaced my flex pipe, my rear...
Ya I believe by default my coastdown was at 22 degrees. I also want to up my dfco timing because that was at 6 degrees and as soon as I hop back on the throttle im in the 25s to 30s and there is a...
OK this is new! I just changed the scaler, flashed it and all is well on the first start!
Temp is 176 ect fuel trims are still off, but the car sounds like its idling well and visually my timing...
In the car logging in my drive way right now. ECT is under 140 degrees and the timing is spot on where it should be. Fuel trims are off but I will deal with that in a bit. Rpm is also what I am...
I have tried A TON of different injector settings. Did you really fix the problem Japeatr or are you just pulling my strings here lol.
I will double check and specifically try his settings again,...
If it was a jumped tooth, wouldn't it have issues 24/7 and not just from 140 degrees on up?
I will try the scaler tonight in a few hours :)
eklipskid69 - a tune isn't provided when you buy the TVS. I have always done all of my own tuning on my vehicle. I can upload 30 different tunes, stage 2 files, my own files, anything I want. The...
I don't exactly know when it started. I went out awhile ago to adjust my fuel trims, it was a pain in the ass and my exhaust was to loud. Tossed her up on the lift and bam there was a hole in the...
laser - I take it that was an e85 tune lol. Your timing on the wot side of that tune is just crazy...hope it's not accurate lol. Your injector settings match mine pretty closely, I will copy and...
Japeatr - I haven't been able to look over your tune yet, but I do have a question. What is your cyl air mass at wide open throttle?
I am pretty sure mine has always been 1.36 whenever I am wot...
Here is an update.......I am thinking there is a leak somewhere because I have a TVS with a pretty small pulley, and I am not boosting at 1.36 cyl air mass which I am pretty sure is where I was at...
I changed the overspeed and underspeed tables to zero.
Below 140 degrees ect timing is ok, above that and it goes negative.
I am trying different injector data to see if that helps, which means...
If I am sure about anything in life...it's that I do NOT have a vacuum leak lol.
Would there be other symptoms if the timing was off a tooth besides the timing, randomly, changing during idle?
...
No codes, timing is right everywhere besides idle. Mid range it commands exactly what I tell it to, as does it at WOT.
I doubt there is an issue with the injectors because idle afr is perfect as...
Anytime I change the injector data it makes my maf off drastically. I would have to rescale my entire maf and that is gonna be a lot of work.
I guess I could try it but I still don't think that...
Not 100% sure if I have a new timing chain chain tensioner or not...I have had this car for awhile and have done so many things over the years with it. I got "new" injector data from a member here...
I have a ton of mods, but none that would cause this. No internal engine mods or anything. Just a TVS, 80lbers, injen cai, blah blah blah. The rest don't really matter.
The exhaust temps...
Ok here is a quick update. This is odd.
I started the car cold, first start of the night, instantly started up my scanner. Low and behold the car timing is between 9 and 15, more so between 12...
imphat0260 - all multi's are zero'd out, except for the danger zones. IE anything above super high iat2's pulls timing, super high ect temps, etc.
gn2beatu - throttle body is stock, throttle body...
The throttle body has been cleaned, but is 100% stock and working properly. At idle, ALWAYS the car has negative timing. I will put up a scan of the car to see if it helps. The tune won't help...
You probably have the incorrect settings for your injectors and or your maf/ve tables are probably way off.
What causes negative idle timing? I have adjusted the timing at idle, I have checked my fuel trims, I have ran a maf only tune, checked my maf, changed spark plugs done everything I can think of.

HNRClothing - Thanks for the information. Have you tested out adjusting the timing tables in the cruising cells for gas mileage efficiency at all? I only ask because I am running e30 currently on...
