What your seeing with your Vig is normal. A torque converters job is to multiple torque. Now if it stops doing that you get the sense of "blowing" through it. Now if the torque ratio drops below 1:1...

As you can see between the two tunes, the PE is not hacked. The MAF and VVE are actually adjusted for what your car needs. There is some TM left along with line pressure adjustments.
If you compare your "tune" to the stock file you will see there was hardly anything done.
