and in case anyone is wondering, it came up with a checksum error when trying to read a bama tune.
probably worth mentioning you need to select "copper" when trying to read.
how about some shots of the airflow tables? Transmission tables?
True, I scanned my buddy's 13 back in the summer of 12. Just limited on what you can scan. NEED KR.
And yes it does very much, however staring at this stuff as long and often as I do, you start to get a feel of how the new systems work.
After some thought I've revised my response above.
Am I on the right path? It's tough to guess without being able to see what's inside all those wonderful tabs lol.
For the optimum tables, looks like the intake valve opening in crank degrees btdc and exhaust closing degrees atdc.
For mapped points cam position, it looks like a referenced cam angle for a given...
LOL, yeah it will just "learn in"
I was going to run stoich, 40* and disable the knock sensors........thanks for clearing that up.
You're doing us all a huge favor, once dodge comes out hptuners will be the best domestic tuner on the market hands down. Business should be nice this summer.
Eric I appreciate how on top of this you are, your helping alot of people out, keep up the good work
What's neutral profile correction?
Ah I guess I should have asked what stoich was set at first.
11.6 sounds a bit rich doesn't it?
Wow because that's probably as complicated as they could have made it
There you go, fixed
I never use others tuning, mostly because 9 out of 10 tunes are hack and the other are application specific. I never once have seen a proper MAF cal from a mail order. If the tune was good in the...
Depends on; if they have it locked or not
That's what I was thinking. Thanks for confirming. Talk about easy to dial in the fuel curve.
Btw, when the time comes, if you need a few files I know 4 people with 5.0's.
This raises a question. While scanning my buddy's 13 5.0, I noticed stft correction at wot. Is this correction based on commanded a/f ratio vs actual calculated by the factory wideband? I wasn't...
True you raise a good point, I forgot you could adjust spark per cylinder. It's tough to put a number on how much timing to pull maybe 2-3 degrees then. Also, if you skew cyl #8 3% then the others...
Anybody know what a good skew % would be to help cool EGT's? I'm assuming 5% would be plenty.
