I need to send an info log and hpt file to support for a vin/os error and need to know if the interface has to be hooked up to the car or if the info that is on the interface is sufficient?

Ok I found the demo. But do I need to have the interface hooked to the car with ignition on or can I just pull the info log it brings up without being connected to the car?
