This is for the RX7.... I've started it up to check for leaks and oil pressure and it idles good, haven't driven it yet.
There is a massive delay on throttle response at idle...
Safe to dive in...
The only way I would "tune" the EQ table is by strapping the car on a rolling road load dyno and seeing what AFR makes the best power for a given cell.
It would take an enormous amount of time imo.
Yes... do this... I would like to see the results.
My car did it again today.... about 5-7% lean. When it's usually about .5% rich.
I get the same situation. OL SD
It happens maybe 1 out of 5 times. Hot start, cold start, cold out, warmer out... doesn't matter.
I'll be 6-8% lean across the board one time and dialed in...
I was just thinking about this feature today. It would be perfect for things like diagnosing valve float etc....
It'd seem like simple math to come up with whp numbers. Use the time, speed,...
Will do! thanks keith.
Yep NA. Not sure about power, haven't had it dynoed yet. Been doing all my tuning via wideband.
FWIW it'll spin the tires from a roll at any rpm >3k in third and lights em up at the torque...
I've got the older serial HP tuners interface (not MPVI) and I have the two original licenses. I need one more. How do I do that now? The order page only says for "existing MPVI customers"
...
what happens if you max out the cells on the timing table?
Logging last night I was hittin 1.16 g/cyl on the timing table and I didn't even bring it past peak hp (~6500rpm) It only goes to 1.20...
Keith,
That was my car that scott had the issue with. I emailed you for the fix :)
Thanks!
Jim
I've just got the 1bar enhanced and I am wondering if I can turn off the SES for maf related codes?
With the SES on but the CEL off (how I was running SD before) I would get "Maintenance Required"...
How about big overlap cams and VE tuning down low where going by AFR is pointless.
