Pretty much the same tune just a different base file. I had tuned this car last year and remote tuned it when the customer was at the strip. Since I expected it might be a corrupt file, I had him...
FIXED! since I didn't have a stock file to start with I downloaded one from the repository. Made all my changes and it fixed the issue! Thanks for the input!
Thanks for the responses, I tried this already, it does this with or without the interface hooked up.
Yes, seems to happen at the same kpa everytime, still in the throttle when it happens, let...
Can anybody give an explanation of whats going on here? Tune is scaled 50% but same issues before the scale. SD 3bar OS. Commanded A/F is going to .46, injectors go full open and backfires through...
2007 Mustang GT 3v Whipple FRPP tune.
Pauls here,there goes the neighborhood! How's my "Detroit smoking buddy" doing?

Look at your graph and it will probably not be scaled the same on both sides. This will cause them not to cross at 5252. Although the hp and tq will be equal at that rpm the graph may not show it...
Booth looked great! It was nice to talk with Jay again.
You will need the new beta.
Here lies the problem. With bigger cams come more overlap. With more overlap comes more blow down of the fresh intake charge. There is just no way that your wide band or narrow bands are going to...
There are other (better) ways to get rid of the knock. By zeroing this table, your saying that the spark requirements don't change with the A/F ratio???
Since A/F will affect spark requirements, I...
Got mine yesterday! Thanks Greg!
Rated at 3 bar, but Greg's data is actual values you would use for your actual fuel pressure. Greg has done all the homework on this for flow rates,offsets, short pulse adders,minimum pulsewidth,...

Idiot? maybe so but I can admit when I'm wrong.
If 5000 people do something wrong it does not make it the correct way of doing it. Even if someone knows nothing about tuning(you), common sense...
WOW!
FWIW James is probably in the top ten tuners in this country.
Follow your own advise but remember that 95% of what you find on the internet is wrong! It's what people do to get by, not...
80% is fine
It matters because closed loop is just a feedback control. The narrowbands were never designed to be accurate enough to be a calibration device but only as part of a feedback system. You still need a...
On the harness side, the blue connector is c1. There should be numbers on the inside of it, at least for the four corner pins. Pin 42 should be for the low speed fan, this is where you install the...
C1 = blue
C2 = red

I took this class last April. Greg will teach you the proper way to adjust everything without taking the safety net away from the ETC system. Highly recommended!
-John
That's the best way in my opinion!
You could look at it this way but a step by step guide actually teaches you nothing. I have not taken Bob's course or seen any info from it but I have taken other courses and tune professionally...
Try connector C1 pin 42 (dark green)for the low speed fan and C2 pin 33 (dark blue)for the high speed fan.
