Yeah, that's what I've been thinking also. Although, this car is late May '16 production, so maybe something changed? Why I asked.
Anyway, it gets better, I went to start the car to go to work...
As the title says, can this be read, or does the PCM need to be sent in for unlocking? I just want to read it for now, but got that message and before I spend more time doing reads, can it be read? ...
How's that coming along? Or did I miss it?
That's pretty much what the spark boarderline knock table is set to, my '08 CVPI is similar. More importantly, what have you guys found as far as getting a good KR reading with this PCM and...
Yep, I'm an idiot. If you don't put the parameter you want to log in the 'channels', the data will never show up in the graphs or charts. Who'da thunk that?
Damn that's nice!
Good tip on the search, thanks. I'll set up a screen with everything 'knock' and see what works
I was using the specific parameters, that's what's making me scratch my head. I see you made your total KR match the base spark table rpm's...we think alike, lol. Only thing that is missing for me...
I'm starting to feel like a real dummy...so help a dummy out. I have a 2013 Challenger 5.7 with the GPEC2 PCM, and I'm trying to log spark retard with the 2.25 scanner. The generic spark retard...

(Seemed easier to link rather than figuring out a re-word  )
Any of you more computer savvy guys know how to make a clock start when the vehicle speed scanned goes above 0 and maybe stop after 60 or whatever speed you choose? I think that would be pretty cool...
Overly sensitive knock sensors? I see you are running into the timing/rpm areas I get into when my Monte starts KR'ing, but mine usually does it in 3rd gear, 1st is clean with occasional 2nd...
When scanning my stock timing table 06 Monte Carlo SS 5.3L I notice the car starts KR'ing under WOT in 3rd gear. Sometimes it starts up the KR'ing intermittantly towards the end of 2nd gear. Always...
