Thanks Luis,

Mods are a blower pulley change, Harrop CAI and blower lid spacer.
I'll get some logs over the weekend.

Thanks 07GTS, your comments plus another useful thread I found reinforce what I thought.
Based on this I seem to think my tuner has likely butchered my cars fueling during sudden jumps on the...
Hi all,
In Australia I've noticed a MAF tune appears to be cheaper than a MAFLess tune, however this seems to contradict my understanding in that the VE table or coefficients are still used under...
Hi all,
Wondering if any of you tuners out there have ID 1050x injector data to plug straight into an E67 PCM tune file?
I've got the HPTuners injector data from the ID website, however it appears...
Hi, I have a couple of questions I'm wondering if anyone can answer?
1. Can anyone tell me if the VE table (or coefficients, etc in this case) is used with a stock standard MAF tune from...
I reckon the following are some ways to stop low speed bucking. Others, feel free to chime in and correct me. This is especially true for larger cams though.
Firstly. Delay your end of injection...
IMO you can't really tune without a dyno also.
No way to say how much timing you should run without one I reckon.
Or at least I haven't been convinced of a way to determine best timing without a...
I disagree. I found found delaying the EOIT to help greatly with driveability and big cams. I think a dyno is still the only way to confirm some things, although I still think people shoud spend some...
Are there any example tune files out there for ITB intakes?
I have one on my car and would be interested to see how other people have adjusted the transient fuelling tables and made use of the VE...
Great reading.
Any more info on how we tackle changing these table to fix a problem we identify?
I seem to get large lean spikes when lifting off the throttle.

But does adding injection timing at idle until it stops getting richer also make the best power at higher revs??
Benno
I do have the throttle cracker and follower zero'd.
I find with the ITB's driveability and returning to idle etc is perfect without it.

Great info!
Previously I delayed my EOIT at idle in steps and found that the WB read richer and richer up to a point. I left it at the point where delaying things further stopped showing richer on...
Car has had an LS3 conversion done and has the following mods.
Texas Speed cam 235/239 111LSA
PRC 260cc aftermarket casting LS3 heads
Harrop Hurricane ITB intake
Car has done about 130,000km,...
Hi,
Looking at logs from my vehicle, I've noticed the IAC position showing it spiking consistantly as shown in the picture attached.
Does anyone know what causes this?

Hi I have an ITB intake manifold I am starting to tune and would like some input on how people use the VE multiplier table.
Small changes in throttle can have large changes in MAP for me so I am...
Thanks for your help.
I'm going to try disconnecting all the vacuum hoses going to and block them off on the intake. I may be able to identify if the extra air is coming from one of those lines, or...
Hi,
I've recently put a Harrop Hurrican ITB intake manifold on my LS3 and find I am getting too much idle airflow. Has anyone else had a similar issue to this (not necessarily with an ITB intake)...
Hi all, below are some questions I posted on LS1Tech. Thought they may be better asked in here.
I'm putting an ITB intake on my car and was wondering if there are any ITB tune files out there that...
What a joke, the way things are going I reckon we've got more chance of winning the lottery than getting this feature.

I have had the car off the road for a while so haven't had a chance to play around with this.
Hopefully be back up and running soon and I will try sorting it out.

Benno
Would you mind expanding on the math intensive ways to do this?

I've heard of people looking for the timing that gives the most vacuum at part throttle positions as a guide to how close to MBT you are. In your opinion is this a good method that will get you close...
I hate hearing of people adding timing till it knocks then backing off a few degrees. Definately not how it should be done in my opinion.
