Good to know Bill thanks!
Thought they went to sleep after xx minutes of inactivity Bill?
Have to make sure you tick the check box Grant!
LOL no probs Mike, been ages since I've installed an update but yeah valid point, good practice installing in that order! :)
Doing it the way I suggested just resets the default to 2.24, no need to install/uninstall/install anything...
Or you could hold the shift key right click on the file then choose "open with" and make sure the check box is ticked, browse to 2.24, done.
And all this is dependant on a correct free air calibration to begin with :D
Dug the old lappy out (XP machine so past it's useby date)
I have mine set up as 10.66 = 0.618 based on my .24v...
Been awhile since I've used my HPT but from memory it's on the chart display at the bottom on EIO# whatever you plugged it into.
I'd have to dig out my old laptop to get what I did, mine was .24v...
Set it to v DC, Key on Engine off with the Scanner running, probe the green plug where your NGK is wired to the HPT Dongle, now see what voltage is showing in the HPT Scanner for the connected input,...
Do you have a multimeter?
You need to actually measure what's coming out of the NGK and compare it to what HPT reports in the software then adjust the formula based on what your hardware is doing.
Did you read the thread I...
Here's a good thread on the subject>>
http://www.hptuners.com/forum/showthread.php?14570-How-to-adjust-wideband-Voltage-offset&highlight=wbo2+voltage+offset
Doing the CAL procedure in free air?
Have you checked for voltage offset between what the AFX is out putting and what HP Tuners is reporting in the Laptop?
You have secret Torque Management knowledge?
Who is in need of a life.......
lmao...
My E-38 car does the same thing, it's almost like something on the Can Bus Lags behind if you key on then off and back on it will fire first hit if not you could crank it for minutes and eventually...
Bought my last one from the USA even with shipping it was much cheaper than anywhere local.
13 days Door to door to door Australia>USA>Australia, awesome service, I ordered a part from one state away the day before I sent the NGK off to ECM and it hasn't arrived...
Mine is done and on it's way back to Australia, ECM have been faultless in making this happen!
Still better than 9>16 ;)
So roughly 8:1 <> 19:1 AFR, not bad thanks again for the heads up on this :)
Good stuff!
Sent one of mine off a couple of days ago but it's a bit further for me ;)
I have 2x here, will send them off one at a time, thanks Kyne!
More info please?
Where to send it and roughly how much?
Thanks!
Isn't that backwards?
If DFCO is active there's no fuel so no pops..
(until fuel flow resumes at xxmph)
Is that for a full open loop tune?
