Car is fully tuned. Car drives like a dream. Trims are all perfectly dialed in, car runs smooth, idles great. Then....
All of the sudden randomly like 10 minutes later, the car's short term...
Can you run 116? I was able to run the same timing with 116 as I did with e85. 25.5 degrees up top. 29psi. S256et. 500whp. 09 TC Stock Motor.
Never dynoed with 110 but found the ability to...
Did you blow a LHU or LDK? It was stock right? How is this possible. I can't even blow my stock LNF lol...
LOL. I just want the most from my setup.
I already have the 4.45
Not as stout obviously but I think the gear
Ratios are perfect for the power.
This may seem a bit insane but since the gm stage 1 tune is so lean aka practically stoic at wot and since the motor is direct injection - think a hint of stoich at wot down low would be okay?
Long story short...
I have an s256et .55 AR on a LNF 09 Cobalt. I rev to 7400, as that is the limits of the cam phasers.
My tuner and I have had no problem getting it to put out top end power....
I would not go with the efr for 500whp +, especially on a rwd solstice/sky with lots of drivetrain loss.
Just because someone did it at 35psi and the turbo lasted more than a week doesn't mean it...
Would a GTX3582R really be THAT laggy? Put it in the smallest AR possible?
When that cam control solution comes from ZZP and everyone can rev to 8k+, I think they'll be a big change in the size...
I have no doubt a lnf can rev to 8k with valvesprings only...even with stock balance shafts. I am just confused as to the cam phaser limitations. Ie. What they control and if revving past 7400...
Anyone ever revved to 8k? I have 82# valvesprings. I ditched the s256et and bought an s259et Batmowheel. Obviously an 8k rev limit now becomes ideal. What is all this nonsense with the cam...
Bill or anyone, do you know if you guys will support the new Chevrolet Trax? It's only available in Canada i hear. Based on the same platform as the Sonic, but a mini-suv.
Cheers.
Thanks, everyone.
What would happen if I had 3-bar map sensors and uploaded a tune based for the stock SSTC sensors?
What would happen and what would be the error codes?
Thanks.
Your vids on youtube look awesome!
Great driving!
The only car you couldn't take care of easily was that red GT3.
I always thought the knock problem was because of the IATs. I remember...
I read your post and thought you said scion at first. Was going to flip out on you!
Good luck, I have a 2010 Aveo, would be nice to see if I could get the 1.4T engine for mine.
Thanks. It is a shame that BYT might not be doing big builds anymore.
after installing an efr turbo at my friends garage, do you think i can limp over to my tuner 60 miles away using the base gms1 file, as long as i don't go into boost, or is this a bad idea? I will...
it's called running 4 degrees of timing lol
how's that 400whp stock turbo no nitrous going there nick?
Damn I am jealous.
We just dynoed the bugger.
Seems the rail pressure is all sorted out, A/Fs are dead on and so are trims. Everything is great.
It put out 360whp and 410wtq on a dynojet, 23psi, e47 mix.
Big...
Yeah, that is another point to notice BYT. I think 22psi and 50/50 mix has pretty much maxed out the fuel system. 2000 psi on midrange throttle, sometimes higher levels of cruising even 1700 psi. ...
bump. would appreciate some advice if possible.
maybe from term and byt.
why does the car buck so much?
Kevin can you post the log when you get a chance? Thanks.
We might just have to get vince's underlay if we can't figure it out here. I'm really confused how this is accomplished through...
