I hear you! Yes I am still running your same tune from when I replied first. Now I've also towed up to about a 5k boat for 1,500 miles or so. Plus many other shorter trips pulling boats around.

I'm happy to report I'm now getting a solid 16 city 18 highway on this tune. Where previously I was getting a 15.75 as a best on the highway.
Haven't pulled anything so I can't comment there but...
Hey buddy. Just wanted to offer some encouragement and a reply. There isn't much traffic on this site for diesels which is why I believe (in part) most go EFI Live. That and the DSP switch is...

Same as above but for checking balance rates.

This is just a basic config that is a ton better than anything I found. None of the histograms are...
Very nice! I've been thinking of doing something similar to this.
My idea was to have a worksheet that would "lock" the cells on the VE table that I had just paste multiplied too. Then when I...
Funny that is how I do things as well. Even if I start and stop the scan with out stopping the car, or really letting off the throttle, I still seem to get garbage when I paste multiply.
BTW Just looked at your log and it looks like your VE is just getting dialed in. :)
Honestly I don't know what effect fuel trims have from flash to flash (I'd think they would be cleared). However all I've read states that yes you should clear trims each time.
And replied.
This.
Looks good. Did you remember to clear the fuel trims when you started the scanner? BTW what V forums are you on? I'm the same S/N on a bunch of them.
PM Me your email also, I have something for...
Well I had been getting the codes in the title very sporadically causing my V to go into REP mode. It then started to pick up in frequency and basically any hard 2nd gear pull would trip REP mode. ...
No problem. And you had me guessing for a second, how does this guy know my name?! Haha
Jon
Take all of your MAF logging stuff out of the scanner. This will cause problems like the cells not matching up just as you described.
My guess which is based upon nothing more than speculation is that it might be something hard coded into the PCM we can't see. I know my V has the limiter set at 6500 and perhaps GM threw some extra...
Here are two for an LS-6 CTS-V. The first is from the repository and the second is the one Twitch is going to post for you. ;)
Make yours look like the table on the right. If you want you can leave the (-) timing in the ECT areas you will never see.

Thank you for the helpful information. The timing curve I'm running belongs to the Magnuson 112 supercharger base tune. While its not optimal it is similar to what I need and has been a good...

I've read the LS motors run best at 190ish. In other words lowering the operating temp on a DD car is not the best idea that everyone thinks it is.
Fan temps already lowered.
Plugs are already...
:) Thank you very much sir. That seems to have taken care of it! (Log attached if anyone cares to look).
That said while I have the sperts in here....Is any KR acceptable on WOT shifts? It can...
Yep and also if it is still then "unsupported" try a disconnect and "forget last vehicle". Then reconnect. The scanner is finicky at times.
Attached is the log from today. Doesn't seem anything is at work lowering my timing.
Thank you. I have done so and will flash and run this tomorrow.
All of my TM is disabled so I'm...
Thank you for the reply. I will try that out tomorrow and update with the results.
I'm not sure why my timing is jumping all over the place when I go WOT. A little background...
I just recently (This problem has been around since) went to true SD from a MAF/SD hybrid tune. The...
