I have a spreadsheet i used to calculate the IFR data.
Since their rebuilt stock injectors i was told all that needed to be updated was the IFR.

heres a quick 2 minute scan..
So i recently swapped the 39# cobra injectors i was running to rebuilt stock 28#ers that are now flowing 42#s.. i simply swapped in a stock 2001 SS tune, changed the IFR #s and set a target idle...
AH i misread the title.. hes asking about logging without an interface. i gotcha :banghead:
Dont most people go through the EGR pin to grab their 0-5v signal?
dont you run SD in open loop (aka no O2s)? am i confusing myself here?
so theres a OLSD & CLSD it seems like?
BUT why would running OLSD be an issue?
So correct me im wrong, but your saying to turn your O2s back on after you tune your VE? but if your in staying in Speed Density, why even bother?
Sound like the OP is running SD.
but please...
how does that make sense? ^
doesnt SD always run in OPEN LOOP? therefore you wouldnt be using your O2s?

i will admit, i need to use google before i post :(

Hey quick Q
do i need something specific to wire my wideband into the ECU to read AFR?
I was told by somebody to use the input from the NGK to the EGR pin through the ECU. How do i do this? Do i...
not a bad idea! whats the best way to go about disassembling that connector? thats not something youd wana f*** up
injector swap: 1/2 complete.. now i just need to put the new guys in and hook everything back up.
wont be fun smelling like fuel for the next 2 days
ah, i might have been a tad confusing. I think just cause you use the credits to get the 1 Baf SD application, doesnt mean you cant change back to the stock application/MAF.
anyways im right there...
great thread, subscribed.
Yes it does take credits. i know this is the route im going to take. RTT allows you to adjust idle, spark etc.. in real time and gives you instant results. i messed around with it a year + ago before...
If youre going SD why not unlock the 1 Bar SD and take advantage of RTT.
ill be doing the same thing as you.. except my car is a tad more radical.
I'm jealous... i have to wait on new injectors to come, and HPT is arriving tonight. then i have to remount some gauges into a radio delete panel im making. Probably take on the task next weekend....

NGK AFX just came in today from summit. looks like a real nice peice of equipment. I know the perfect spot to mount this baby :yay: guna put it right inside my AC vents in the center of my...

Looking for a stock 2001 f-body tune, if anyone has one i can get it would be much appreciated. M6 tune preferably! Thanks in advance!
i think Greg had something to say about that article.. and for some reason i wana say it was paid for by innovative or something like that. I think i found that info on the EFIlive forum..
Ill try...
Thats what i like to hear!
Hey im pretty sure ive read that the NTK sensor was only really necessary for tuning with leaded fuels?
Pretty sure that will work fine, i have no experience w/ that one though. And for a ref. mine bung is located on the driver side x pipe before the merge.
I will be ditching my PLX and going to a...
*correct me if im wrong*
get a bung welded to your x-pipe. Dont really think driver/passenger side is going to make THAT much of a difference in your wideband reading. and 1 should work fine...
Hey Greg,
Would it be possible if you could elaborate on this? If its going to be a royal PITA to dial in these injectors, id much rather buy a new set of injectors..
