Loaded the stock config and all is well for blackbox logging.
This doesn't help my problem though. I want to be able to log more than just the 24 bits.
Do any other 04 GTO owners have a problem...

Hell yeah, they go to -100 when using blackbox. Check the logs in the first post. They still do the same thing.
3 of the 4 trim PIDs log at -100 but are normal using the laptop.
There's all kinds...
What moves the LTFT so much when blackbox logging, it only occurs while using the blackbox, not using a laptop.
Well it doesn't.
Again, it only happens when using blackbox, the same config...
Hello ??
Dont forget that it takes a few hundred RPM to complete a shift also. Meaning that if you want to shift at 5800 RPM you should set the shift points to something a little lower such as 5700 - 5750...
You dont want to just raise the shift points without finding out where your power band is. If your peak power is at 6200 then it starts to fall on its face, set them to just below that. Most M90 cars...
OK, I did what Bill suggested and started a new config file with only 24 PIDs or bits or whatever they are. Black Box logging worked fine, no problems.
Using the same config file I added more...
I'd like to have more control over the gauges page in the scanner.
Such as the ability to add different types of gauges like a digital display or to spin the axis' on the graph/meter gauges ao that...
Is this part even possible? ^^^
eh, I dont remember. I tried a 100 different things all at once.
I'll give it a go again tomorrow or whenever.
Did you check the config files?
I've done the blackbox logging many times in the past Bill, it always worked fine until I tried it with the GTO.
I dont have any idea on the errors, it wouldn't connect. The red flashing error light...
I loaded the config file below and it wouldn't do anything except give me errors. It's supposed to be 24 bits if it worked.
Did anyone get a chance to look at this Bill ?
OK, will give that a try.
I just took a drive and scanned using the laptop this time. No changes other than using the laptop, same config file.
Other than my tune being off a bit, its all normal....
Weird problem here. If I scan just using the black box I get some serious weirdness and VCM codes. If I scan with the laptop there are no problems.
Somehow there seems to be some type of feedback...
I was just talking to a friend about this yesterday. Yes it would make a nice addition.
Thats just what I did for now. I never had any knock at throttle transients so for now I zeroed out the last line for a warmed up car. I'll keep an eye on it for awhile and see how it goes.
As for...
So either raising the gm/cyl threshold or zeroing the tables will have no ill affects?
([SENS.30]-100)*0.14504
I dont remember where or why, but it works for me in the Chart.
I'm going to get back to GTO tuning now, let you guys handle this stuff.
OP's quote ^^^
Post up your tune. It has to be in the tune somewhere if it runs fine to start with and then after a few driving cycles it starts misfiring again.
I hear you already have a copy of the software though, thats no excuse. ;)
