Ok I will give that a try and hopefully that will help my mileage. The bucking is also quite annoying with this cam.

Ok I will give that a try and hopefully that will help my mileage. The bucking is also quite annoying with this cam.
Forgot to add config. Also note that the car in question is in my signature.
I know this is not the car of choice for fuel economy, but this is my daily driver. Maybe I'm wrong, but I sure expected that I would be able to get better gas mileage out of it than 16 MPG. I was...
I will definitely give that a try. Will the idle spark overspeed and underspeed tables need any adjusting for bouncing idle? Sometimes it will bounce around some, but not all the time. Also, will...
I have my VE, MAF, and RAF tuned, but I can't get rid of the bucking. The car will buck if just idleing through a parking lot or if in a line of cars leading up to a stop sign. I don't have much...
ok. i see why that wasn't working now. does the set up in the pictures below look correct now?
actually that was the log that I posted. Attached is the config.
I have something going on with my lambda error equation that shows a result of something around 1400-1500% error. Can anybody help me figure out what is wrong here? I have attached some screen shots...
1999 Trans Am 6 speed with ls6 intake, headers and off road y-pipe with cat back
Ok thanks for the help. Do you know where I could get a whole config or histogram for lambda tuning?
Maybe the OP needs a histogram to tune for a different fuel and think in terms of lambda and lambda error. I would be interested in a config or histogram for this ax well.
Or do I need to set up histograms for lambda and lambda error? Which I am not even sure how to do at this point being a complete boob.
I guess the real solution would be to try to set up some histograms to read lambda and lambda error. I now have my plx gauge displaying in lambda.
If my car has already been tuned with 93 octane E10 with the stock stoich ratio of 14.68:1 is there any need to retune it if I change it to the E10 stoich ratio of 14.13:1? If so, what steps should I...
I guess my main confusion comes in when I am looking at my VE AFR Error, Wideband AFR, and commanded AFR histograms. Trying to figure out what I need to change when going from a stoich of 14.68 to...
I have been reading a lot about E10 and tuning for it and a lot about tuning VE tables and MAF. My question is should I go ahead and tune my VE and MAF using the stock stoich figure of 14.68xx (or...
Yeah I haven't even tried to ground port 5 from the eio to see any difference. I just plugged it up the way the instructions had it that came with the PLX. Still looking around to see if the...
Forgot to mention that the car is a 1999 Trans Am 6 speed
First off, I am a complete noob.
I have looked all over the place and can't find a good answer for my question. I just got the PLX SM-AFR with DM-6 gauge. I adapted a cigarette lighter to the...
Is it important to get one with a display? I have read that you can observe the AFR in HP Tuners. Is the NGK AFX w/NTK sensor the latest and greatest?
First of all, I am completely new to tuning. I just ordered the Pro version, which should be here any day. I understand I need a wideband O2 sensor for proper tuning. I am trying to find one that is...
